😕 gotta say ive never changed a relay board on a ctd, not ever

    its usually the capacitor
    or the timer

still, im sure they go, i must fix 2 of these things a day

    grr, i was first

    hello you 2

and incidentally, an 8uf capacitor is supplied with all new dryers, its ok to use that

    spot on

    its one of three problems

1> the cycling stat is faulty ( the one with continuity) allowing the dryer to overheat, thus tripping the safety cut out

2> the condensers blocked, thats the filter type thing, behind the flap at the bottom, secured with 3 grey clips – it reduces airflow, thus allowing the temperature to rise to an unaccepatble level

or, and this is the most likely

3> the motor capacitor has failed.. this would explain it.. if the motor doesnt go, the fans dont run either, therefore the heater is on with no airflow.. the stat will trip

i say this, because it didnt start on the odd occassion.. did it hum and not start ?

    and this

    is what you need

for the price, id change the capacitor anyway, its mounted on the base, next to the motor

trust me, they fail a lot

    hope this helps?

have you actually tried the dishwasher again?

wouldnt be the first time the machine works on the next attempt… the pcb’s on all indesit / hotpoint appliances are notoriously temperamental and un reliable

then there is either a blockage in the hose , or (more likely) the pump isnt actually running, its just humming

lie the machine on its side, take the bottom off and take the pump off to look in it

    power off, please!!!

    glasses break, it happens

its not a design fault, if thats what your trying to get us to tell you

its down to people wanting lovely framelss glass finishes and things, theres little strength, and thats the problem

lol, sorry to be so abrupt, but no, the front of the cabonet isnt removable, its welded to the rest of the cabinet

best bet (apart from using the special indesit tool), is to put the seal in the lip, tilt the machine backwards and put the hookand eye at the bottom, and fasten it with a pair of pointed nose pliers

    not an easy task

    well

dont be surprised if the bearings are failing

the gap between the pulley and the stator is nominal

although the statots have been known to cause this problem

    unplug it

    take the top off

pull of spring band from front of door seal

unhook rear band, take off door seal

put on door seal, put on band

refit front of seal, refit stretch band

    put top back on

    it really is that simple
