Participantdefrost heater?
its all thats left
im sure our friend will be along to comment shortly, im surehelo_75
Participantif your display is reading -19, then theres no system problem
you’ll probably find your units full of ice
first of all, unplug and defrost for 48 hrs, with both doors open…
try it again, possibly, theres a defrost problem, maybe a sensor is faulty or a defrost heater
the sensor will be over the freezer evaporator, so technically, its working as there will be a build up of ice restricting the flow of air, by blocking or obstructing the fan
try it, u might be surprised

Participantid agree, its usually on top or rear of the oven cavity
why did you pay someone £43 for a repair that didnt work? perplexes me!!

ParticipantALL appliances with a fixed plug have a 2 year warranty? you really need to wake up and smell what your shovelling dont you?
i wont bother responding to anymore of your posts, maybe you should spend more time complaining to the manufacturers than coming on here talking rubbish

Participantyup id have a look on the pcb 1st
the plug for the door lock is on the same plug as the motor .. its more than likely the motor thats done it
quite common, in fact
however, it could just be the spring broken at the back of the handle, but surely you’ve checked that?

Participantull need someone with specialist equipment to change the compressor.. its not just a change job, the compressor needs to be brazed/lockring fitted, vacced down, pressure tested and regassed

And perhaps you might explain why the remaining 97{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of those sold do not have this fault ?where did you find this information.it would be very useful..
samsung… do you think we make these figures up?things break down, problems occur
thing is, some people ask the question, and deal with it, others demand answers and expect everything done gratis
unfortunately, as we’ve all said, the worlds a changing place, technology is advancing at a rapid pace, and people demand low prices for up market equipment
and ill keep saying it… the guys on here (myself included) spend huge amounts of time advising people for no recompense whatsoever, so your comments, as you really need to appreciate touch a raw nerve.
a diffrerent approach might be in order… i dont know ANY other site on the net where you can get such good, honest advice.. i mean i could understand if we all just replied with ”ooh you got a problem, u need an engineer”
and i also think your comment about your 4th samsung (which isnt actually faulty) is funny.. what do you think theyre gonna do? fix the machine because you think it might go faulty at some point?
really, please, just see it as it is, you had a problem, we tried to help, it wasnt good enough. luckily for you, you got it sorted, but still you come back, having a pop at us all
maybe a refund is in order?
