    just a quick note…

    thats a blomberg machine

tip? if u can see th bottom of the paddle, undo the screw, push paddle into drum… that allows u then to use an unfolded wire coat hanger to close the doors from the INSIDE

    done a few of them

    hope this helps

    Re: HOTPOINT VTD20G T/D

u wont.. its a numbers game, as penguin says, 7 components less+shorter belt = cheaper product

we see the end product, and their own counter-productiveness.. how can saving, say £5 justify 8 belt changes in 12 months…

yer spring on the top will be broken…. sure as eggs are eggs

power off.. lid off.. 1 spring from front to concrete block,1 from back to concrete block .. usually the front one snaps

    hope this helps

    Re: HOTPOINT VTD20G T/D

the drum comes as just that.. a drum (different profile) and a shaft

usually, u’d need the front supports(part of shaft kit), cos they were modified too, oh, and a belt, that was modified as well

    QUALITY

    Re: Freezer not working

if the fast freeze is on , and it still dont work.. gotta be either short of gas or a faulty compressor , right? since the fast freeze switch over-rides the thermostat, makes sense

    hope this helps

Re: ZX79/SSI Zanussi fridge not cooling

nope. dont do it, its not a heater coil as such – its the capilliary, and is an integral part of the system

if theres ice on the suction line, and the capilliary isnt warm enuff, its more than likely a system problem

never introduce heat to a refrigeration system when its running, its designed to absorb heat remember!!

    Re: bosch fridge freezer

either the doorseals got a gap in it (is it fluffy ice or solid?)

    or your drain holes blocked

if its solid ice, and looks like frozen, running water, try the 48 hr defrost, that usually works!!!!

    erm.. shaky subject gas repairs

    in honesty?

u sure uve put the glass in the right groove?

been to loads where ppl clean the glass, and then put it back in the back groove instead of the front, creating massive heat escape, and the stat dont register!!!

try it, it might be that!!!

    good luck
