thanks for all replies i went today expecting to see it up to the brim with detergent n was fearing the worst but all i found was about a inch in the bottom of the pot so i removed all the water with a large syringe then kept filling it up with warm water and removing it again i repeated this until water was running clear again .

customer rang since i poked around in the machine the other day its been ok, went back today and resoldered the relay just incase so fingers crossed!!!!

i come across this quite often just remove top of dispenser then you can split the top half in two and just clean the crud away with a brush nice quick job n good as new when done (i use a putty knife to pop the top half apart)

yep heater in plastic sump at the front rhs looks like a zan nexus heater.
any idea of part no or best place to get one, might as well try one in

yeah that was my first thaught but heater tests fine first time ive seen this one its got a strange circ pump on it (similar to whirlpool askol type)

stat is about two thirds back on right hand side. but dont worry customer rang today hes going to invest in a new d/w (not a import this time)
