    thats all i can think of, the board is mounted on springs to get a good contact with glass, either that or the glass may not have fully seated onto the board? hth

    did you raise the glass back off again after to see if all the springs on the touch module were correctly in place?

    dont suppose anyone got the qualtex part number, their website really it pants for searching, masterpart has the seal oos, may get them from shop, whats the delivery time like for shop items?

    did used to do zanussi bearings but that was a few years ago, from what i remember its back of cabinet off, remove wiring/hoses then drum out & split, not too different from a WMA, but that was a while ago,

    yes, have seen it before, not alot that can be done though, if the temp is ok then best laft alone

    basically the hotpoint machines will all be EVO2, as will indesit models that use a programme dial that does not ‘click’ round through the programmes, EVO1 machines were the older indesits where the dial spins in fault mode

    sounds like when you re-fitted the new board the button has not aligned with the switch on the board,
    all you need to do is make sure the button on the board is being pressed in
