Re: When to do a job right

have changed many of these heaters & never needed to replace the origional clips, just carefully open them with a terminal driver, then a little more with the next size up driver, re-seal using side cutters to squeeze back,

sounds like you may have removed one of the motor connections while changing the parts?, power off before looking

hi, it will just need a new capacitor, dont try to use it in the meantime or you will also need a set of thermostats, just check the uf rating on the capacitor to make sure you get the correct one, plug out first of course

sounds like a pump problem, it will take in water regularly during the dry cycle, but should also pump out just as often

well sounds like overdosing, whats the water like there?, here its really soft, and if they use the box recommended level of 2 tabs/capsules it will over sud, basicallly if a machine has suds in, then that is wasted detergent with nothing else to do but sud, yes there is a gap between the dispenser & front panel, but that will only be a problem if the suds come back up from the drum, cause on the way down the water should not reach that ‘spot’ as long as you’ve checked the dispenser hose for any restriction, and the outlet from the disp assy, then tell them to cut down on dosing, saves them money too!!

hi, if the dryer heater is that loose then it will need a new element up there too, however, as stripey said, the whole machine would have only been covered for 14 days from the first repair,
