Re: Indesit WIA101 – aborting wash

hi, think you need to check which ones are flashing, the anti-crease is the 1st one (left to right) and wash is again the first one (top to bottom)but this is not a listed fault code
However if you find that it is the anti-crease and Rinse (2nd down) flashing that would be a pressure switch not sensing fault, (p/sw, wiring or module)

hi, did you check both inlet valves? they can fill to a level from one, then switch to the second valve, but if its o/c it will just sit

Re: Hotpoint BFI620 Door Seal Leak

Hi, no need for a new seal, you are right that it is only a splash guard, your problem is the powerball tablets, they are too strong (especially if you are in a soft water area), the excess detergent is causing the foam, when the correct dosage of detergent is used the machine will produce no foam, there are loads of posts on here about the problems of using these tablets

Run the machine on a few short cycles with nothing in it and the excess detergent will soon go, then switch to using basic tablets,

    Re: hotpoint 9546A

yeah the indesits need both back & front half together, bit like the zanussis, but the origional 9546 will just need a bit of persuasion, it may look a few mm out, but it will fit

also check how the start & on/off buttons are sitting, if they are pushed out of their clips it may well be thinking its asking to be started again
