    Re: Hotpoint WF630G Bearings

it does depend on which shaft was fitted in production, no way to tell till the pulley is off, best way is to fit 35mm shaft & bearings,

    Re: WIDL126UK Eeprom Query

the plug in eeproms are of a bigger size than the soldered in ones, you’d have to be damn good with the iron to get one of them in

on these ones, instead of the dial spinning to show a fault, it will run the fill valves & drain pump continually, god knows why, a real pain for the customer when its plugged in behind machine, even if you turn it off on the front it will switch back on & fill/empty untill unplugged, so it can still just be a thermistor fault

hi, ill try to explain, the Defrost food alert warns the user when there has been a power cut, so they can check that the food has not defrosted, it will stay lit after a power failure until it is manually cancelled,(its not a switch that can turn anything on or off, just a cancel button) the high temp light is on whenever the freezer temp is above -12,
The holiday mode changes the fridge cut-in temp to a higher setting as it assumes there will be less food in the fridge whilst you are on holiday, it has no effect on the freezer settings though
    hope that helps

its usually where the block was loose & the bolts have ‘shaved’ off some of the concrete, tighten & should be fine

hi, if the machine still has its origional factory fitted module you will not be able to change just the eeprom as it will be soldered in

Hi, is this the Indesit W123UK? if it is, may well be motor/brushes gone, the prog will be accepted, the door will lock but nothing more ie. no fill, have you tried just a spin prog to check the motor?

    Re: Just Brilliant!

taking quite a few out of machines lately, the big problem is they do float around between the 2 drums & can give intermittant faults depending on wether it sits over the pump or not

well you could try a quick start/test, open the fridge door, press & hold fast freeze, whilst holding in close the door then release the F/F button, does a short test then should kick into life, if not could be compressor or module fault, both expensive or £90 including parts if you use hotpoint
