Hi, think this is the new type with module in the base?? if it is i think you have to have the eeprom to set the module, the eeprom is then removed before use,

hi, when you took it apart did you remove the top panel? as if the buttons wont work now it sounds like the board has not been put back in quite right, so you cant select the buttons & may also be boiling if the dial is not correctly located, ie dial set to 40 but board may be on 90!

Hi, something is still stopping the machine from either pumping out or recognising that it has pumped out, as you say you can pump out the water using the drain setting it looks like the latter, could be either the pressure switch or unfortunatly more likely the main control module faulty, best way would be use the free parts & pay the £90 hotpoint fee

yep, with the power off the door will release after 1-2mins, would advise you to put drain hose in a bowl as mentioned first though, could be a lot of water above the door opening

Hi, F05 = your pump/filter is blocked, have you checked the filter??, make sure its switched off, unplugged & you have plenty of towels ready first!, (dropping the waste hose into a low washing-up bowl will remove a lot of the water from the drum before you start)

ParticipantRe: 3 ENGINEERS LATER AND STILL NOT WORKING CAN ANYONE HELP
gotta stick up for pto here, where did you get these guys from? if you call someone & they dont fix it get the same guy again, if you get 3 dif guys how do you know what each one has done???, i will not call to a machine where someone else has been before, all it takes is for the 1st engineer to put one wire back in the wrong place & no-one has a hope in hell of puttin it right again after!
