ModeratorRe: Ariston AWD12 DEAD!
It points to a bad contact somewhere, almost impossible to second guess from a distance. A multimeter, or any form of circuit tester together with the appropriate wiring diagram is what it needed, getting hold of the former is easy, obtaining the latter is when your problems begin. 😥

That will be a help, but what you really need is the proper electrical test equipment and the knowledge to know how to use it.The most likely cause is an open circuit, ‘one shot’ TOC. other possible causes range from broken wires, faulty elements, and control systems, the last two are not very common.
However, if the TOC has failed then you will also need to find out why, that could be a faulty fan motor or connections, blockages, user switching off before cool tumble cycle has finished, wiring shorting etc. Please remove the mains plug if you intend to proceed, or try the link below to see if we have someone in your area who can help.

ModeratorRe: Ariston Margherita 2000 – I also have a problem!
Unfortunately it sounds as though you have got something jammed in the filter, complete removal of pump will be needed. Please be sure to remove the mains plug and get a bowl and plenty of towels handy. It helps to lean the machine back against the wall or the units.

That is exactly how it should feel. My dad used to make model aeroplanes in the fifties and the ‘feel’ of this type of pump is just like the little petrol engines he used. If the pump impellor has a lot of side to side movement then it is more than likely time to change it.

ModeratorRe: pipes
There is absolutely no need whatsoever to take these hoses, the heater box or the soap dispenser off when doing a bearing repair. 😥
There are two different soap dispensers used on this model and the hoses fit in different places, on one model the rinse aid dispenser is a white removable container that sits at the back of the soap drawer, on the later model the rinse aid dispenser is a blue cage that is situated at the front of the soap drawer.
Looking from the back the single (hot) valve hose goes onto the left hand nozzle of the soap drawer. On the triple valve, the solenoid that should have two grey wires on it is the condenser valve, the hose on that should go to the the short ribbed hose, top dead centre at the back of the machine. The other two will be the ones you will struggle with, they both have black and blue wires. You may be able to see FC L on one black wire and COLD L on the other. You will have to look at the channels on dispenser top and decide which of the hoses goes where, the FC L wire is for the fabric conditioner valve, the COLD L wire is for the cold fill valve.
One very good reason why this type of job is best left to an expert. 😉
Be sure to remove the mains plug before you go ahead.

ModeratorRe: Hotpoint CTD80 ERROR CODE
You can get a manual by following the links in the ‘Lost Your Manual’ thread at the top of this forum.
F10 is likely to be a heater or stat fault. To verify it needs to be checked with the correct test equipment.
Please remove the mains plug if you intend to investigate yourself.Jim.
