these should be fairly low voltage.

Re: Set fee service calls ?

Just had this reply from a friend at Hotpoint in answer to this question.

“Creda and Indesit 1 to 5 years £150.00 All makes 5 to 10 years £200.00”

No sarcastic comments about the last figure please. 😉 😆

Diagram shows two plates across top of drum,
    Front support C00080650
    Rear support C00080651

Unfortunately the manufacturers warranty quite clearly states that the parts must be fitted by their own authorised personnel, for several very good reasons., legal and financial. 😉

How would they know that a member of the public had correctly diagnosed the fault, it would not make sense to issue parts free on that basis.

The cost of the parts you require would be around the same as the labour charge.

Part number is C00093158, around £73/£75, that is without the EEPROM which is approx £18/£20.

Not sure which concrete counterbalance weight you mean . I can see one on the top of the drum, and one that goes around the door seal at the front of the drum ???

Re: Set fee service calls ?

It used to be called MRC, back in in the dark ages at Hotpoint, I have had one or two customers in past six months mentioning a maximum repair charge
I thought it was more than £140 though.

Need exact model number ie; WD12SUK or WD12UK, also full serial number there are different control modules for these machines. You would still be better of getting back to Indesit and complaining. The cost of the parts you may require is more than Indesits labour charge, which is all 😥 you will have to pay.

Control modules for these machines vary from £73 to £102 approx, and that is without the EEPROM.

    Re: Broken INDESIT evolution 1400 we14 – should I chuck it o

Are you getting any error messages or flashes? It could be as simple as a blocked or failing drain pump, not very expensive to repair.

    Re: Hotpoint Ultima 1200 WD71 – E15

If the machine fills and empties with cold water on the rinses then the pressure switch is unlikely to be at fault. In fact the pressure switch is one of the more reliable components in these machines. Several other causes can give E15 particularly as you say it is emptying OK. There is very little you can do with a pressure switch, it is a sealed unit.

If you read through most of the thread you refer to you will see that the general consensus at the end was that the pressure switch was not at fault.

Re: My Candy Washer wont work.

Three cheap washing machines in nine years adds up to around £750 plus. Why not invest in something much better ( German made Bosch etc) for around £350 to £400 that will like as not last you 10 years minimum.

    Chris.

I had Acrobat 7 installed before I got the TDS DVD. I installed Acrobat 5 from the DVD then the full TDS info. I have no problems whatsoever using the DVD, most pages open in Acrobat 5 but some even open in Acrobat 7 perfectly.

Versions 5 & 7 do seem to work independantly.

PS. Acrobat 7 did an auto update yesterday.
