Did the vertical lights flash? Not seen that happen. TBH.

    Re: Removed Thread

I am going to delete my thread asking for any tips on the Zanussi belt change, in a short while.
    Belt change

I am not going to massage Martins ego by entering into a discussion with him.

Had he asked a similar question I would have already assumed that like I did in this instance, that he had taken the trouble to look at the service manual.
I would also expect that as an experienced engineer removing the motor fan would be second nature.

His reply would be suited to a complete novice, hence my less than gracious reply.
I have no ‘hidden agenda’ and had a great day yesterday. 8)

I won’t own up to deleting the thread though. 😉

    Happy Jim. 😀

I have had one motor and two or three inverter boards cause this fault. All the ones with board fault had to been uplifted for credit. I was under the impression that the boards had been NLA for a couple of years now but a little bird told me there might still be at least one available. 😉

The vertical lights do not flash for error codes, as stated in the Error Codes thread.

‘All the horizontal lights along the bottom flash and a combination of the bottom five vertical lights will be on steady for error codes, counting from the bottom up’.

I think this topic has more than run it’s course, personal insults and threats are unbecoming of supposed adults. The thread will now be locked.

Those are just date stamps not rating indications. You can see such marks on all sorts of items, on plastic car components etc.

The one on Fleabay looks like it was manufactured in May 2013.

    Lights 3+5 = Blocked filters.

Mesh plate, filter or microfilter, pressure
sensor, pressure switch, circulation motor are all possible causes.

Well Eddie will be pleased that Burnley hung on for a point as he strolls round Helsinki.

No, this is a Spanish owned and staffed business, just off the Av. de Mijas. My friend speaks fluent Spanish so was able to explain exactly what was required. 8)

I was at a friends in Fuengirola just over a month ago. The suspension units on his Zanussi had failed. A 10 minute walk from his apartment to the local, small independent dealer who supplied us with the gen parts at a very reasonable price.

Unless you have suitable electrical test equipment and know how to use it then there are no quick, safe checks you can do TBH. Parts covered for five years but labour charge is £100+

Could be a loose connection in the motor plug or burnt connectors in the door interlock connector block, both very weak components.
