The 2844290100 INPUT IMPEDERENCE INDUCTOR is also out of stock in the UK, customer not prepared to wait so job completed without a repair.

Thanks for all the advice, I’ll put this one down to experience!

    Seamy

Motor is out of stock at moment – no UK stock – so that may be lucky for me! I’ll take your advice and let you know the outcome.

    Thank you for the reply!

    Thanks Ray

This machine is a 9kg black model that was quite expensive for a Beko. Cust MUST have black so does want it fixing. Looks like I may have to bite the bullet and order the motor – wish me luck!

If I do fit it I’ll let you know the outcome

    Thanks

    Thanks Ray.

That’s my fear. At no point have I seen the motor turn. Have you ordered a motor yet?

No error codes displayed Chris. Can you tell me how to enter diagnostics?

    Much appreciated both

    Sorry for late posting.

Glad it’s not just me quiet! We had a very busy start to 2014, everyday fully booked. Last week dropped off and this week very slow.
I’ve been self-employed for 26 years and I still can’t figure out a pattern and why you can go from a busy week to a quiet week for no obvious reason???

    Hi nomadPaul

How would you get to the test programme on this model?

    Thanks

‘Dispenser circuit error’ is what I have listed in my guide but that may not be specific to that whirlpool model. Hope it helps!

    Re: Hotpoint TVEM70C vented dryer

I used to chisel off but now always drill, it is neater and no risk of damage to the drum. I always fit the V4 complete kit, C00113038 and charge accordingly. To be fair it is a good repair and will give the machine a new lease of life!

Re: Beko tumble dryer – DVTC60W – stiff drum

Front seal probably the cause. I have had these ‘stick’ to the front of the drum causing the drum to seize and the belt to snap.
