Yes I had the right hand side panel off! But I could not see it! The supply wires come off the terminal block and seem to go towards the sump, then back on themselves tooth loom, through the door and up to the “on/off” switch???

Check for broken wiring from the pump to the board…if no damage…board required!

to make it easy…remove the front of the appliance then use a torx bit to undo the weight securing bolts….remove the weight then hey presto is an east fit. This will take you in total about 20 mins!

    hope this helps..Jazz!

Some light reading…try some more searches there is alot of discussion about this!

    http://www.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/modules.p … s&start=60

basically if you work on these appliance and anything ANYTHING goes wrong…its your bum in the sling!!
New regulations say that the bayonet fitting is purley for the customers/ gas technician use to disconnect if there is a problem….Anyone else disconneting that pipe to carry out any service work on that appliance must be Gas Safe Registered!

Re: Currys tech guys cleaning service

I refused to do it…Boss went pear shaped threatened redundancy….but has now chilled and seems to accept my decision…Sounds like he will be making a less senior engineer ( who wont argue) do it…Although he told me he only accepted it on a trial basis and will wait to see what the other engineer thinks about how much work it takes…
As said in the above reply this is by no means a professional clean….personally if i was paying 100 quid for my cooker to be cleaned, it would have to be gleaming…I can see all the complaints comming in before we even start!!!!( not that i am or ever will!!)

    Re: Multi Fuel Cookers

Apparently revamped now….If anyone goes to a dual fuel cooker with regards to carrying out ANY repair…they MUST NOT disconnect the gas supply pipe UNLESS thay are gas safe registered!
So to answer your question if you can do it without diconnecting the gas supply pipe you will be ok!

    Hope this helps
