    Hi Bernie,

I think you might have the 12nc wrong is this model 857081615101?

If it is this model then the tank is not sealed, once you take the motor off there are 4 bolts round the cast housing to remove and then the drum, backplate and cast bearing housing will then pull out of the back of the tub.

Re: Whirlpool FRSS2VAF20 leaking and flashing.

    Hi Mathew,

You have two seperate faults here by the sounds of it. Leaks on the water pipe are ususaly caused by a hose connector not fitted correctly at the bottom of the freezer door or a bad connection at the filter body ( if this model has a water filter ), easy way to find out for sure is to take off the grille below the doors and inspect these joints.

The dashes in the display tell you that the freezer is not down to the correct temperature and it could be one of a many problems casuing this which are all covered well in this threadHERE

Thanks for that, another question though, looking at the one I have it is the earlier version of this machine, no one has the soap dispenser in stock but all suppliers seem to have the dispenser for the later versions in stock.
Will the newer dispenser fit on the older machine??

Which version of Windows 7 do you have? If it is either the professional or ultimate version you can run any program designed for XP using Windows XP mode.

I cant find that exact model number but on the 3RLEQ8000JQ the part number for the seal is 481946818182. I am pretty sure it will be the correct part as the drum and seal arrangement hasnt changed over the years.

This machine is a top loader, it has no rear drum seal.

    Re: Whirlpool AWM049 no go

You have checked all the obvious faults there Jim so it can only be the timer. Before you buy one check the harness to the motor, they were known to have dodgy connections next to the plugs.
