ParticipantRe: HJA 8630 heater staying on when empty?
Its only £13 for the board why bother fitting a relay to the old one, think i’d splash the cash and try a new board.

ParticipantRe: Hotpoint WDL520P all option lights flashing
I would check the dryer thermistor and the dryer heater 1st these throw up all weird and wonderful faults, just fitted a dryer heater, fault was fills okay then stops, lights flashing and would do nothing else wash, drain or spin. JJ

ParticipantRe: Does anyone use this loop tester info required
Yes thats the same one, the Indesit guys also use that one also its okay, the EZ is smaller and automaticly does the polarity check then does the loop test, the socket and see does the polarity check then you press a button for the loop test i prefferd it for ease of use and its size.

I used a Martindale EZ650 for years fitted in my toolbox and didnt take up a lot of room, i left it in somebodys house i now use the socket and see tester that i got from an ex subby from bg for free, for doing a job for him, i still prefer the EZ650.

Going by the serial n/o it is an arcadia machine i would be having a look at the dryer thermistor a common fault also the dryer element open circuit or a broken wire to any of these, after that if the pump is okay module time? welcome to the madhouse
