Only advice John is to go through the diagnostics on the PCB, I do change a lot of Zanussi PCB’s but best to check first, if you have the TDS DVD it will tell you how to do diagnostics check HTH

Gave up working for JTM years ago, c**p money, always late paying, no back up either technical or customer service, total nightmare, we all know what service providers pay, the bare minimum :dark:
That van looks hideous, but it will be noticed, good luck to all the Franchisees because they will need it, my only advice to them all is check the small print in the contract and get some legal and business advice before you sign anything :hmm:

ParticipantRe: 2 X Zanussi’s
Hey lads just had a ZWD12270W today no supply to the dryer heater when drying, changed dryer PCB still the same, changed main PCB still no supply to dryer element, live supply on both sides of the main thermostat but no supply to the reset stat or element.
Checked filter all clear, checked continuity on connections from PCB’s to heater all ok, this one has me stumped, any help appreciated 😕

Too right Chris, plenty of plasters and maybe a visit to A&E might be needed, like Stanley knives those machines 😯

Hi Mark,
I think it might be Bosch made, check on their parts website http://www.bosch-eshop.com

ParticipantRe: Subcontracting-whats a fair price?
I hve 2 sub contract Engineers, they get paid £30 – £55 a completed call depending on whether Gas or Electric and if contract job or private customer, they seem quite happy 😀

ParticipantRe: 0800 Repair
As an old NESN franchisee I still shudder at the word ‘franchise’, maybe this lot will run it better, maybe not, but the experience I had did nothing but give me sleepless nights and I was very glad to get out of it relatively intact financially.
There seems to be plethera of these things going on at the moment, 0800, Repaircare etc all trying to offer something different like set fees for a job including spare parts rather than the old call out fee and spare parts, personally I think most of my customers like how my company works, set labour fee plus spare parts with a 12 month warranty, but some might try another service which dosen’t bother me as it just might make them appreciate us even more after the experience 😆
