thanks guys, i was just about to put up a thread on this as i’ve got two integrated machines with this problem both of which came in together. i suspected that this device might be the culprit, i assume the theory is similar to the flow meter on a whirlpool dishy.
thanks again i’ll post back the results once parts are fitted.

sounds like i dress exactly like robinsonrobbo. i keep telling my other repairer mates that jeans and trainers cheapen their image, even though i know that they are more than competant and fair. customers often remark on my outfit, i do look every bit as competent as the manufacturer’s guys. i’m often offered a blanket or something so that i don’t get dirty.
finally when fitting stats to fridges i even put on latex gloves.
when i give them the bill for whatever i’ve done they often say “is that all”. i don’t think that would happen in trainers jeans etc.

    hi guys
did you ever get to the bottom of this?
i’ve just been to one doing exactly as you say, but i also got the drain pump doing it as well on a different cycle. i know for a fact that the spray pump and drain pump are fine because i’ve heard them both running.
i am suspecting a module fault which i will order as its only £30 quid. however it would be nice if you could confirm or otherwise that a mod cured your job.
    cheers

i carry a small 12 volt battery for testing relays. admittedly i’ve only diagnosed two not working by using this method. on both occasions they looked o.k. but were stuck in the off or no heat position.

    just a thought
did you check to see if the condenser was blocked with fluff.
sometimes i run machine with door open to see if there is air blowing from the conveyor. if not but fan is running it would suggest a blockage which would cause it to overheat.

i’ve just ordered two washers. i hope i won’t regret it.
anyway i’ll stick my nose inside and see if it looks like a more common brand in disguise. i’ll post my opinion when i get them.

Re: Bosch WFO2467GB/01 Overfills & no spin

i,ve got two of these with the same symptoms. that is set the spin cycle which is 12 minutes. it counts down and behaves perfectly until it gets to 5 mins, then after a few seconds it jumps to 1 min then instantly shuts down.
i have checked carbons to be o.k. (at least 75{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} left). i’ve filed them down slightly on sides to rule out sticking.
i have also diconnected the pressostat tube and tapped the switch to ensure that it is aware that the drum is empty.

of course after all that the symptoms are the same.

on this occasion i haven,t checked for leakage, although we normally pat test these machines and they were spot on 5 months ago. ( i know that really means nothing now).

any help will be very much appreciated as this is a very very important customer to our business.

    thanks

i’d agree with the dispenser coil. i spent ages on my smeg chasing a weird fault, not listed in the codes. sure enough, i nicked a fill solenoid coil and it cured it.

i’m sure you’ll find one in the R.S. catalogue or C.P.C. if you use them. they are good for replacement relays for power boards 12 or 24 volt about 90p each. i also use them for micro switches on smeg diverter valves instead of buying the whole thing.

had these same symptoms last week. believe it or not, it was as simple as a lemon fresh thingy dangling in front of the soap box. moved it to back of basket and cured it. i wouldn’t have believed it, but it’s true.
