yeah the fuse is ok. i know the mag isnt definately ok was more concerned on which control board thanks very much for your help!

tried downloading the fault code guide for the 0.2p. I tried opening it in “Open Office Org” and just got pages of Egyptian symbols.

I pulled the motor out and tested all 6 connections. All had some resistance so the internal fuse of the motor should be okay but not sure of the wiring configuration.and the tacho is attached to the pulley wheel. No spades going to earth though.The commutator did look very worn for a 3 year old machine.

it’s not the type with the torx head screw that fixes the little cover in place. This pump you get to from the little front panel and turn clockwise to remove.

The Anti flood turns on because the mushroom shaped cap inside the tub floats on the overfilling water. Unfortunately it does not pump it away fast enough.

By Actuator, do you mean the ones that make and break the door switches? I tested them earlier and all three switches were opening or closing with the door.

after further inspection I found that part of the main pcb behind the control panel had melted one of the snail trails. I soldered a wire and retried it. It immediately blew the 12A fuse.
I’d already checked all the microwave and heating components for shorts and earth faults.This must be a fairly common fault because I’ve now got a second Neff combi with exactly the same fault within four weeks. ER4 showing very faintly in the display.

As I have had no advice on this occasion I have told the customer to get in contact with BSH as I did not want the problem of ordering the sensor only to find it could have been the PCB. Thanks anyway.

The impeller was tight. I’ve uplifted to the workshop and after an hour with a full load the oou noise started then stopped. Will look again tomorrow.
This machine is about 10 years old and looks in very good condition but I think customer wont spend much more.
how long would it take to remove front and fit the bearing pads at the front. Parts numbers please. I had a similar fault with a Neff about 10 years ago and BSH send us a kit which included a tube of silicon Grease. I believe that it was quite a labour intensive job.Re: AEG DISHWASHER F640701M
I rang Distripart who were most helpfull. They have given me the correct part number for a configured pcb. it was cheaper than the unconfigured. Its up to the customer now, but I’ve leart something.

Its possible. I would normally send similar pcbs for refurbishment or credit. Its not a simple dry joint. I’d have to use a strapping wire, then it may not be successful.

My old posts seem to have disappeared from history. only last ten posts are showing. I’ve had some history with these.
I’d be interested to see the info being sent to you from jonah. I found that the info they send with the kits is inadequate. I ended up spending about 3 hours tracing back the wires and ended up guessing which wire went where.
read the instruction well and be prepared to be gobsmacked when you find that the new stat shafts turn in the opposite way from which you would expect. But it does work, honestly.I dont know how much Stoves charge to do this repair/ modification. I would suggest that unless you are well skilled withy wiring diagrams and you have plenty of time at the moment you pass it to someone else. Rotten job!
I’ve still got the Invensys oven stat on stock EFG 205 if that makes life easier.
