    Re: Subscribers spares deals

Sorry Dave I don’t think it will work, as you have seen by the amount of subscribers very few are interested in anything bar their own selve’s.

The chance of them bulk buying is negligible with next day delivery it was different a few years ago when the vans came round once a fortnight.

I had a job lot of Servis modules and was selling new at half the price of EMW recons, sold about 20, had been trying to sell in boxes of 20 didn’t sell one box and they were all current ones.

I have always bought bulk but it doesn’t pay now.

    Re: Danfoss electronic stater?

Sorry Dave nothing like that I have used that type 25+ years.

This one fits on the side of Danfoss pot is about 6 inches square 2 inches thick has a great big alloy heat sink on it and loads of electronics in it.

I can only see it as a starter as there is no wiring going back to anything

    Thanks again Kirk

    Re: Admiral Top Loader AW22

Thanks for the reply I could not see how motor worked as it was in a very difficult place and thought I would get advice first, I did try it on spin with no load but of course very quite, the customer is adamant that it is the drum, and when you push it over it stays there not like the old Hotpoints but all the springs seem ok, this appliance is two years old.

    Thanks Kirk

I have done dozens of these conversions and it is really easy, you can buy the switch on its own but the load still then comes through the switch, on the conversion it is diverted so no more problems, in days when I just changed switch some would only last a few weeks.

The most common fault is in the freezer if both defrost heaters have been working, it is usually the main one that fails or the timer. at the bottom of the evap at the back are three vent holes for cold air up to fridge if the customer did not leave off long enough it needs 24 hours door open or a steamer to clear them. Steamer takes about 5 mins. If this blocks in two weeks the defrost is not working
