Is that 3K from the 1st OCT cos that’s all they are supposed to be paying ,I would also make sure your remittance ties up with your statement .

if its the one I think it is there is a cutout on top of the heater tank ,but its more likely to be a broken door wire

If they are tested where I think they are they sit in a huge warehouse for ever and a day ,Iv’e seen it it’s like a washing machine graveyard.

In my converstaion’s with him I was told that all work carried out after the 1st Oct would be paid .
I reminded him that all but two of the Jobs I was owed for were invoiced and in some cases paid by D&G before that date to which I was told that is part of Oldco and the recievers were picking there way through it all still the same outcome -no money .
I weighed up the risk and decided that it was not worth it ,if you google MFI MEP you will find a forum for MFI employees ,makes intersting reading especially with regard to appliance manufacturers not being prepared to supply them.
I don’t see how MFI can survive as people are more worried about where there food is coming from not where they are going to cook it.

I spoke to my local engineer, when I say local he is more than 60 miles away from me .
He was saying that he is there only Corgi engineer for Essex,Suffolk,Norfolk and Cambridgeshire 😯 so he is doing a lot of miles at the moment.
I think Mark Ridler is trying to regain some credibility with the likes of D&G at the moment, hence him telling them he is sorted ,he is also sending there own engineers all over the place.Lawrence

I gave Ridler my terms to go back and work with them ,his response was “no way” so I have parted company with them .
Shame really ,but I am afraid I just do not trust the head honcho at MFI or Mark Ridler himself anymore .
On another note I was talkng to an ANS engineer myself who told me they are going back under the old terms with the promise of a review sometime ….
There rate is a staggering £37 per call plus sundries ,He was a bit shocked when I told him that insurance companies pay me more than that for inspections.
I think that a lot of them are so desperate for work that they will take anything as they don’t feel they have any other choice.

Before you commit to maytag ,here is something to consider ,I had a customer on the phone this morning asking me if I could repair her maytag t/d (asko type)as Maytag called 14 weeks ago and still had not returned to fit the part.
