Since Allen keys fit torx would torx (with hole) not fit Allen sockets?
As for Zanussi washers, had a bearing job on an AEG the other day and everything’s going fine till I find the 6mm Allen socket countersunk pulley bolt 👿 . Hadn’t gone prepared for that. Punched it loose in the end though.

Worth also checking for short circuit water valve coil. (Yes it does happen occasionally.) If pump supply is routed via valve, as is sometimes the case, this is what you get.

Yes, often module has had a burn up around heater relay contact. One I had recently had blown a 5mm hole in the board. Had to do a nifty soldering job.

Could be water turned off or blocked – buzzing suggests solenoid getting power. Hope you got your call out charge.

Have heard of it. Cost an arm and a leg I think. Works on dehumidifier principle IIRC. Might need a re-gas? 🙁 Or perhaps it’s ptc on compressor?

Could also be the Hall effect(?) sensor which is attached to the stator. It’s a quarter of the price of the motor so worth trying if you’re self employed.

Fitted this one yesterday, it was then reading 38M. Don’t know if that means it had begun to absorb moisture again. I guess as long as it gets used at least once a week it’ll hold up.
I wonder if these problematic Lux washer dryer elements I seem to be getting a spate of are caused by infrequent use of the dryers.
