They’ve probably economised on the suspension. 😛

Cheers,
Steve.
If you mean which relay (I presume there’s only 1 board) then heater relay would probably be linked via solder tracks to a pair of amp tag type connectors rather than an edge connector. But anyway replacing all the relays on the board would be better than getting a Beko. Can’t you talk her round?

ParticipantRe: What’s this component on Miele W504 board?
Have rung customer and explained that I am not going to order a new board. They wouldn’t save that much since it would be £262+£100 to get a Miele engineer to do it or £262+£50 should I do it. I don’t want that nightmare hanging over me. So they either go the Miele route or get a new washer. January sales coming up.
The Mrs customer has agreed and thinks she may go for a Bosch. When Mr customer gets home he’ll be allowed to have some input.
Mrs C has agreed that they will keep the dead Miele in the backyard so I can dismantle it and help them sell off the good parts on ebay.
Will update should there be any further developments.

Ah but put your glasses on! Picture on Connect shows Tf78C
You must be seeing 170

ParticipantRe: Matsui MF160 thermostat confusion / safety issue?
Yes, looks like you have wrong kit. Should be 78 self-resetting 90 no-self resetting. Just checked on Connect – same kit for MF145.

ParticipantRe: Matsui MF160 thermostat confusion / safety issue?
They’re both at back. It’s marked on them which is which, just like in my picture. The 78 deg is left looking from front of m/c. The 90 deg non-resetting is on right. That’s how it was on m/c I worked on. Cannot guarantee it for your m/c.
Edit: Anyway, you should replace them both, that’s why they’re sold as a kit.

They do that for hotels and restaurants so why don’t launderettes offer such a service to the public? Would avoid them having the parking problem and lugging black bags around.

Great idea! I can see my next business venture now. I think I’ll call it, “Cup-a-soup”. No, how about “Pot Noodle”?

Yes, I got same results when I googled it. Silly of me not to realise the connection.

Just come across this on related topics. Link is dead now. Anyone remember what it was all about?

What a scam! The T&Cs, privacy policy etc. all have links in tiny text at the bottom of page and when you click on them you just get a 404. As they say they are “accredited with the Guild of Master Craftsmen” it might be interesting to contact that august :rotfl: institution.

No incentive for them to bother with asking why things happen. Heater gone, replace it. 3rd time? Ok, another one should get it past the guarantee period. 9Kg for ****’s sake. How heavy is that going to be when it’s wet? :rolls:
