I left school in 1969 started at Hoover then TDA and then for Zanussi for 20 years then being made redundant started on my own and I love it, your right Dave money not good has its ups and downs but at the moment my work load in dead and I might have to look at calling it a day and go to work for one of the big boys its sad but I don’t know why the phone has stopped ringing people are not buying new whitewoods but they are not having them repaired in my area anyway at the moment I am wasting my money on advertising I’m getting depressed typing this

There is no adjustment in the motor the correct belt is a stretch one can only be fitted by splitting the cabinet Power off before attempting this though

Yes I agree I would be looking at pressure hoses blocked or split usually halfway down the length of the hose

But power off before you start to look

Re: Near disaster… Tumble dryer fire!!!

A few years ago I had to find out why a Zanussi tumble dryer had caught fire and destroyed a kitchen, the customer was going to sue Zanussi for a new £15,000 kitchen
But when I looked inside the burnt out clothes in the drum to my joy I found what left of a box of matches her husband had left them in his pocket they had been through a wash and then into the dryer, should have seen the customers face when I showed her Do you blame the husband for leaving them in there, or her for not checking his pockets. I bet he got the blame its always my fault in my house
