    Re: Dealing With “Call Backs”

A very valued long term customer of mine who works in trading standards has always told me 95{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of the local business’s she deals with after receiving a complaint about them turn out to have done nothing wrong & are more than willing to help resolve a dispute.
The average member of the public however is a whole different ball game she said.. i think i can guess what she means :rolls:

And oh yes, the duff bulb after a fridge stat change :rolls: been there a few times. Some people, im afraid, are just ITCHING for an excuse to be a total pain or avoid payment, this will never change. 🙁

Has to be a short circ in wiring to lock (unlikely?) or panel keeping lock energized when it shouldnt i would think, not something i’ve come across though.

    Re: Bosch Door Seals

Funnily enough, i used to get regular calls for Zanussis for the very same thing.. little chunk from the seal lip & flooded floor, i always blamed the little 4.5 kilo drum & over stuffing leading to a trapped garment.
I think its just beyond some people to make sure nuffins hanging out before they close the door 😯

It is a bizzare bit of design that pump arrangment 😯 i think the bean counters have finally run out of ideas on how to make the front loading automatic washing machine any cheaper to produce, and this frankly silly setup looks like grasping at straws.
Cant imagine it saves much on material costs so it must be build time it improves..margins must be tight at BSH :rolls:

That does indeed look like a cheap & nasty piece of junk. Well, thats it then, the sealed drum is here to stay, bearing changes will slowly become a thing of the past, a sock or pair of knickers will be responsible for writing off countless thousands of machines in the future.. and the manufacturers will love it no doubt :rolls: Shouldnt be allowed IMO. 😥

Really.. youre sooo ungrateful!! dont you realise the punters who have the machine in bits are just trying to save you time!!? Thats what they always tell me anyway :rolls:
Definately has been an increase in these have a go heroes, given the economic circumstances its no suprise i guess, but what puzzles me is i tell them my callout is FIXED!!!!! whether i’m there 5mins or an hour, the cost will be the same. All their meddling does ii put me in a frightful mood 👿

Youre not alone there phidom, reminded me of a twit on the Black isle who i had given a price for supply & fit of PCB on his integrated dishwasher. Left him to chew it over & had no response for weeks so prompty forgot about it.
Then i hear from him again saying he managed to get the panel ‘off the internet’ at a very reasonable price & would i mind fitting it?
Thought he had a damn cheek but he agreed to pony up the £40 i asked for the fitting so off i went.. what was sitting on the kitchen worktop waiting for me? a bloody Diplomat facia panel.. good god gimme strength :rolls:

Well, if youre speaking to the Masterpart sales director, tell him the grotty Hotpoint WMA interlocks they’re sending out are truly awful, mounting screw holes are so oversized the screws practically fall through them!

does someone actually get paid to source this crap?? 👿

Re: Has Asda got out of white goods ?

Well i was still suprised at how their website has shrunk to a shadow of its former self.. i’m pretty sure they had at least 5 pages of large white goods last year, now none 😯

I just like the idea of the supermarkets leaving our game well alone, they’ve done a lot of damage IMO. Tesco & co-op are the worst offenders for very agressive pricing though.. why cant the greedy ar*eholes stick to selling beans. :rolls:
