Re: For a clearer understanding watch this..

If we were out looking in we probably would have a motor industry, steel industry, white goods factories, fishing fleet, ship building, power stations selling our excess energy to France, huge military and police, an NHS the envy of the world, foreigners would need a visa to enter our country, a points system for foreign labour, our airports and rail network wouldn’t be owned by France and Spain….. ad infinitum.

So why on earth would we consider joining in 2016? Too hypothetical to contemplate in all honesty.

Is the make and model not shown after you have removed the salad drawer?

The appreciation for good music is very subjective Mark, I’m sure you would agree? You must remind me to ask you sometime what your definition of “coolness” is. (I’m guessing some sort of ’60’s flower power expression?)

Just replace the fan and all will be well.

You’ll probably have to remove the error code from its memory before it’ll behave.

    Re: Candy Oven problem

I’ve just spotted this thread. The terminals are buggered and need replacing for starters. No heat/no fan has got to mean the thermal safety cutout (aka TOC) is open circuit.

So, I do agree you should get someone in to sort it as best option at this stage.

Drum spigot snapped, hence the reason it’s out of alignment. The smoke coming from the burnt rubber in the door boot lip.

Expensive drum, could be a scrapper.

As I said, I suspect the drain pump is clapped out. 8 years old and I would certainly inspect the pump. Probably drains cold water with no problem but soon as it has to pump hot it jams.

Certainly needs checking out at least. 🙂

On a 60 degree wash the glass should get noticeably warm after 20 mins or so into the main wash cycle. And yes the rinses are cold.

If you have a conventional mains electricity meter the circular disc should spin fast whenever the heater comes on to show a high current use age. From what you say though it does sound as though the heater needs replacing.

Re: Bosch Classixx 6 1400 spin problem

The out of balance (OOB) sensor will not allow a single item, especially a bath mat, to spin at all. If you had half a dozen bathmats in then it would for the simple fact the drum is evenly balanced. So, unless you add articles, such as a load of towels to the load it will not possibly balance and the OOB would abort after about 4 or 5 attempts.

Almost certain to be a faulty Door Interlock. A replacement is part no: 00633765

Given the seriously bad publicity Hotpoint/Indesit/Whirlpool have had it is a surprise to me why anyone would think if buying such rubbish.

Then I’ll stick to my first thought, a dodgy pump.
