To remove and refit the door is explained in lengthy detail in the user instruction booklet (pages 26 – 27 available to download from the Bosch site) Reading that might help you immensely. 😉

ParticipantRe: Extended drain hose causes smell from sink.
Likely as not the drain under the sink will need a good clear out as well as the lengthy drain hose will need rodding out with a flexi wire system. You may even have to clear the drain outlet outside the property. Good luck in clearing the muck! Yuck!!! 😕

ParticipantRe: Cooker spur point.
Good lord!….. Get a Part P spark in to put in a dedicated cooker spur/consumer unit MCB in. Customer getting shocks? No isolation switch? You’re heading for trouble here…… 😕

Relay jammed on PCB? (Assuming it has a PCB that is)

ParticipantRe: Bosch casing has melted
Wrong! That’s the tarred insulation you refer to. It is bonded to the stainless steel tub and can get sticky on contact with the mains cable leaving a black/brown stain on the cable. It is perfectly normal.
The same black insulation is found on the bottom of stainless steel sinks. It acts as a sound deadening material.

Tough ask. How about fitting a compact dishwasher in that 550 space? Alter the existing cupboard and fit the likes of a Zanussi ZDM17301WA at a manageable height up from the floor… ❓

Oh wow that sounds pretty darn serious. What is the model number of this appliance (there’s hundreds of Fagors out there!)….?

ParticipantRe: Zanussi not running all parts of program
All sorts of weird programme faults often are caused by the dryer heating element having an earth leak. So if you were to safely isolate the wires that connect to that element (having first carefully noting their respective positions), then try a 40 degree wash cycle it might just behave normally.
It is unlikely to be a fault with the main programme board. If that were the case all programmes would suffer more often than not.

ParticipantRe: Candy GOF662 trips electrics
Heating element faulty the most likely reason.

ParticipantRe: Black lines on washing
If these marks are associated with any unusual scraping/grinding sounds the dryer has started making then a worn front drum support bearer maybe the reason? And the black lines metal worn off the drum.

ParticipantRe: Changing Electronic Board on Hotpoint Washing Machine?
We have a saying in the trade If it ain’t broke don’t mend it!
A machine that’s given you years of use, and is probably in the autumn/winter of its life, you want just 200rpm more out of its spinner? For that you’ll risk buying a c r a p board from some eBay junk yard dealer and screw the last vestiges of life out of what was a working machine?
Leave that machine well alone is my advice and don’t ever think of buying any Samsung either, worse than Hotpoint!

Timer control unit faulty?
I think I asked you before, but can’t recall whether you’re in the trade or not? Or just a dabbler in domestics?
