Best option is to fit a new clock (part no 00263600) and at £84 it’s well worth it.

More chaotic bodge option (not recommended) is a squirt of WD40 into the back of the clock unit and pray. An idiotic choice made worse if you don’t power off first…..!

Ah then you must live in Knightsbridge or maybe Sandbanks, perhaps even a country pile in Cheshire?

A local independent repairer can sort it far cheaper than that!

That is NOT the pump but the ‘instantaneous water heater’. So collectively the cost of replacing that lot is way beyond logical thinking. 🙁

It’s an odd fault I haven’t come across but I’m guessing it probably is associated with a heating fault. Does it heat the water?

I did get your email and I have replied.

I didn’t get your PM though, so either you didn’t send it or the PMng facility is broke?

Oh dear but it very much sounds like a problem with the ‘user interface’ (the main electronic control unit). This could potentially mean a costly fix and one in which ServiceForce should be consulted. 🙁

Short of emailing you the 44 page manual I can’t see any point in getting your customer to mess around with ‘diagnostics’ TBH.

PM me your email address and you can do what you like with it.
