Little tip: Next time you come across one of these, solder a link wire from the burnt terminal to the other 2 relay terminals to create a more substantial ‘buzz bar’ type repair 😉

So he was, silly me 😳

I was searching the “Training” forum for the names of all the trainers but I couldn’t find them listed anywhere? I got a bit muddled up thinking David Quinn, Graeme and George were the 3 trainers, then saw Rob Dray pop up with a post on Breadmakers. I then put 2 and 2 together and ended up with 4 ❓

Must get some new batteries for my calculator? :rotl:

Very tight Dave, try heating it (the pulley) with a small blowtorch to make it easier. Holding the drum spigot firmly is your main problem though. I would suggest breaking the remainder of the aluminium alloy away to expose the steel shaft. Then grab that with a pair of Stilsons or Mole Grips and hang on tight!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Re: Servis M9713 XXL

Tricky question with a dozen possible options owing to the complexities of your machine. (i.e condenser blocked, water inlet fault, pump, programme, elements or thermostats????)

If you are the least bit unsure, I would honestly suggest professional help. Try one of our local independents repairers here

    Re: Advice/help required

Someone will need to hold the broken shaft on the inside of the drum whilst you unscrew the pulley (anticlockwise).

(I’ve amended the link for the spare parts you need by the way in my previous post – above)

    Dave,

It will need a new drum shaft and bearing kit (Part No 1611166) so the bearing will need taking out to do a proper job ( the drum pulley screws on by the way)

    Replacement part available here

badkarma wrote:Obviously the module has got to be the same manufacturer and looks the same / connections same etc…

The short answer to your question is that in theory whichever module you fit (1000 or 1200) it will work just fine.

The badkarma here though (pardon the pun by the way 😉 ) is that having waded through your postings on the other site, I have concluded that your motor (and module) are goosed!!!

I can also rule out the wiring harness causing the triac to blow, as you surely would have spotted that long ago? So therefore I would diagnose a duff motor has blown the module along with it 😥

Sit back and figure it out first….the motor is TEN YEARS OLD!…no Indesit motor can stretch beyond the limits…and yours has typically expired too!

    I rest my case 🙂

P.S. As fido mentioned in one of his posts…buy a Bosch

    Re: Bosch SGS5302GB

    Yep!

Resolder burnt relay track on module

(Test it first by starting a programme then resetting it, if it then goes to Zero and stops after 60 seconds, the module is fine and get out your soldering iron.)

If it doesnt reset? = New Module the only cure 😥
