OK on the motor plug ‘dodge’ adopted by many, but does anyone know the part number of the correct FHP plug*

    *“Rast” Plug maybe :con:

That must have reduced the ‘call-out fee’ somewhat for the customer then 😀

Hit them with this reply if you have a mind to, and check their response:-

    Option 1):

“It is unlawful under the “Telecommunications (Data Protection & Privacy) (Direct Marketing) Regulations 1998, for anyone to make a direct marketing call without first obtaining prior permission from the recipient!”…………..”Now can you please give me the name of who you wish to speak to, also tell me the name of the company you represent, your name and/or your staff number?”

    Option 2):

“Thanks for calling, sorry we are not interested….Have a nice day!”

    Except Miele perhaps? 😀

Re: life span of Siemens appliances

It is hard to generalise on such a product range in your kitchen Kay but most likely they will give many more years good service yet. Siemens are a good reliable product and surprisingly the age of these machines is of no detrement at all, in fact they are a better made product than the current production range, without doubt 😉

So you best hang on to them while you can and never consider replacing them with another brand but take the ‘like for like’ option instead 🙂

THE REAL REASON DEL NEVER STAYED AT SIBSON ON SATURDAY!!

After a full breakfast Del went to for a short stroll outside to get some fresh air, as he walked into the front carpark he suddenly slipped on a huge pile of dog muck. He picked himself up and rushed into the gents to clean up. Suddenly a giant of a man burst into the loo proclaiming his anger at having slipped on a pile of doo-doo outside, wheupon Del declared………….. “I’ve just done that!”

No wonder anyone bothered with David Essex when he dropped by at Sibson last year ❗ 🙁

I agree, but I managed to create my websites using M/S Frontpage 2000 and (modesty permitting 🙄 ) don’t look too bad a result, and pulls in the punters nicely too 😆

However, some web hosts take issue with the uploading of Front page created stuff (something about ‘Extensions?’ or some such rubbish, I don’t understand nor care ‘cos mine uploads OK 😕 )

It is good fun creating your own website and there indeed is a lot of cheap software and built-in packages available everywhere these days. It’s a good learning curve as well, but can consume hours of your time if my experience is anything to go by ❓

Last week I went to a local branch of Plumb Center to buy a new mixer tap, in the same ‘shed’ there is a ‘Parts Center’ counter where this young chap was supplying an askoll pump to a lady customer and she was writing a cheque out for £19.99 (as far as I know that was all she was buying by the way 🙁 )

Oh! and the mixer tap was out of stock 😕

    Re: Indesit W93

It’s a water level sensing problem most likely (i.e. Blocked or restricted air hose/tube or faulty Pressure Switch). Having said that, other factors may give rise to a similar fault code, regard that as just a starting point of trying to resolve this perpetual problem with Indesits 🙁

    Re: Bosch Dishwasher not draining

    Jenn,

Yes the problem is most likely a flooded baseplate in your case. Tip the machine backwards to drain off any water from it. It should work then, but you will need to call someone in your country to fix it correctly for you 🙂
