Most likely its the RELAY (Often will start and run for a minute or 2 then switch off!)…You can get a replacement via this link: http://www.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/modules.p … cts_id=301

Yes!…agreed! Get rid of the emailing option will save time and effort on the time wasters. You cannot get the drift of any repair request without a direct one to one with the client. Besides it saves a hell of a lot of time if it turns out to be (for example) a 5 year old Beko freezer with a clapped compressor!!!!!!!!

ParticipantRe: I wonder?
Very true Ken thanks, I have calmed over him now, but my theory over ‘my other posting’ has proved unsound in this case….oh dear 🙁
And in case you really are confused?, you will just have to PM me I guess for an explanation:D

Very subtle reply Kenneth, as you have obviously read another recent post of mine on a totally different subject recently?
If that’s so? then a very very subtle response indeed from you and I will bear that in mind :scot:

ParticipantRe: Dear BSH-Man…..
Goatboy,
What models ARE you talking about anyway? Interlocks do not take out modules on any Bosch as I have said before (IMO) only low insulation armatures will take out a module/programmer anyway. Besides carbon dust never gets anywhere near a module?
Bearings?….Only the WFB series of spanish rubbish and elderly or well flogged WFF’s will need the odd bearing kit hammering home.
So I’m really curious as to what models you (“top selling machine”) refer to here ❓

“That bearing” is 2 bearings and a water seal kit at around £25 ‘ish, we could get one set for you?

ParticipantRe: Training (TWR)
Ken,
You, Dave and Kevin would not waste all your time and effort into a scheme like this from the outset unless you felt it would work. You recognised the need, you are getting the support (from those that show at least) and there is much needed interest from all quarters in this thing getting off the ground and succeeding. Even those “no shows” will show up eventually if they felt the scheme were to get off the ground as they would not want to be left out anyway.
What is needed before you broadcast any more public information, is tangible evidence of it taking off so as not to appear as just some trumped-up UKW hypothesis.
Therefore can I suggest you refrain from holding those cards so very tightly to your chest on this scheme and consider consulting your friends and associates within this forum who for the most part are well equipt to assist you further.
Clearly you are as keen as mustard to go with this, so confide in me and others and lets see what turns up eh?

colin read wrote:Do you think i need a new `motor` ?
It’s looking that way Colin 🙁
When it spins (without the belt) do the brushes spark the least little bit? Again without the belt on, will it tumble in both directions?
Take a look at the Control Module Terminals as they tend to play up and burn out too 😉

Didn’t show up when I looked at that bin number Kevin ? But Connects (PMP990) did show up for me also @ £10 🙁 So the Qualtex @ £5.50 ai’nt a bad price, also Maddock (51-BS-09) @ £6.44 is not to be overlooked either.
Bargains in all departments eh :rotl:

ParticipantRe: BOSCH WFB 2004 BEARING REPLACEMENT
Oh you are going to love changing the bearings on this baby! Not an easy task but rather shall we say a challenge for you. Now Bosch do not supply the bearing kit for these (just the complete Drum Spigot/Bearing Unit at around £110). But we can source a set of Bearings and seals to fit if you wish (Simply email your request to spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk. )
Good luck, and if you get stuck you can always ask one of us to fix it for you at a modest cost via our : Repairs@

pip268 wrote:I’ve now got to try and get a replacement.
If the hose that passes across the salt valve is blue in colour, then you need a 051835 Salt Valve. 😉 (‘Cos I suspect the machine is a SMS6032 series)
(Take a digital photo and send it me if you like of it in situ?? 💡 )
And if you speak to Dave_Conway nicely via his email address (below), he most likely can get one for you!

ParticipantRe: Dear BSH-Man…..
I have only had this once on a 5 year old WFG2020GB/01. And it does indeed fry the chips especially on a friday night, but no way is it common IMO

ParticipantRe: Zan Pump
Take a look at the Qualtex (PMP230) as it is very similar except the terminals are at the front, should fit though!

ParticipantRe: Ice Diamond not cold
If, even on the coldest setting you can hear the compressor start up and then immediately shut off…It’s the compressor and time for a new fridge 🙁

ParticipantRe: candy dishwasher – flooding
A blockage in the water level system most likely 🙁 How old is this beast? Are you sure you quoted the correct model no?
