shorko,
The problem with your machine is that the base (not the tub) of it has flooded with water and the flood protection device has activated. The reason is that there is an internal leak within your machine somewhere that needs sorting?
Best call in a local independant engineer to fix it for you I reckon. Try this link to see if we have one in your area :Repairs@

The fact that my sister and all her family live in Omaha, Nebraska is purely coincidental by the way.

ParticipantRe: anyone for tenious?
As I live and work in the ‘posh’ part of the country with an exclusive clientele, would you like me to ‘name drop’ a few of my ‘celeb’ customers?
……or maybe you just want me to get their autograph for you???……whatever :rotfl:

ParticipantRe: I wonder?
When Adam was a lad I was a “Field Trainer” at Hotpoint (And no it doesn’t mean I ploughed fields or any other such jokes – I’ve heard them all before!!)
I was the lucky recipient of all those raw recruits fresh out of training school, I had to take each one under my wing and teach them the job, ha! ha!
I would not allow them loose on Joe Public lest I was confident they at least might be able to fix the odd machine now and again, by themselves. With some just a couple of weeks with me and they were away on their own quite happily, others took several weeks before they were ‘potty trained’.
My patience was virtuous in the extreme with many of the prats let loose with a screwdriver, job sheet and a Transit Van. Only one guy I remember to this day I would willingly have pushed out of the back of my van in the fast lane of the M4 (Actually they didn’t have motorways in those days – just dirt tracks – but you get my point!)
My problem these days is that I do not ‘suffer fools’ quite as well as I used to, ‘grumpy old git syndrome’ kicking in I guess :rotl:

Clearly and insulation breakdown within the appliance that needs a qualified person with test equipment to fix for you. Fault with heating element or thermostats the most likely problem, so engineer time.

Ooooophs !! 😳
Showed Jim the wrong T/stat Kit didn’t I, sorry Jim!
Qualtex do indeed supply a TOC kit for this element, but whenever a stat goes the element is best part knackered anyway. Always pays to replace the element assembly (the’re cheap enough these days)
Really easy machines to work on too 😉

Hate Him? I don’t hate anybody least of all Goatboy. What I said was that he was getting on “my wick…!”
I’ve settled down now and am waiting expectantly of the next batch of new recruits entering the barracks from the UKW mailshot. Please may he have few cousins from the herd out there :rotfl:

Reading all this scares me 🙁
When will my 2004 with Adobe 6 go belly up then I wonder
❓
It’s working great at the moment 😀Martin
ParticipantRe: Whirlpool AWZ241 TD
Knacked stats mate I reckon 😆
No science required in sorting either!

ParticipantRe: Indesit F-04 Fault Code – Any Ideas?
Its likely due to crud in the water level system. (Thats the hoses that go from the bottom of the machine to the Pressure switch at the top!) Strip and clean that should sort it

simon26r wrote:I take it that 1st click is wash and 2nd click is rinse
No Simon, the Pressure Switch has 2 levels and depend on the use of the “Half-Load” button to determine the option!
My initial conclusion is that the Pressure Switch is faulty :con:
As far as I recall it therefore would make no difference as to which programme you select, so cannot figure at this stage why it will not work on Prog 1 ???
Take a closer look at the Half Load Switch AND Pressure Switch…IMO

Nevertheless a 30 day viewing of your site is worth a go I recon, so therefore I have filled in the appropriate form on your site.
Fingers crossed your horse trough has plenty to drink in it?

ParticipantRe: Hotpoint BS was it?
Fear not my farmyard friend. These various new products whether they be made in Korea or Timbuktu will likely keep us in business for a goodly while I expect. So you may well laugh…hopefully we all will too…all the way to the bank :rotfl:
