Almost an impossibilty 🙁

The obvious conclusion I must agree, but again impossible to prove in order to substantiate any claim against LG. However they have no obligation toward this as the law stands at present. The company that supplied it to you however do have such obligations.
It is only to them therefore you should direct your redress

OK here is another question to all you knowledgeable CORGI bods out there….If CORGI cannot police their own legislative doctrines at ground level as this case highlights, who can?
Is it left to the consumer to insist on seeing the CORGI certification of anyone tampering with gas appliances?
Do the suppliers/wholesalers of gas appliances and gas spare parts insist on only supplying those that show proof of accreditation?
Of course not 😈
So when a block of flats blows up and someone gets killed, CORGI will have enough paperwork in place to prove they were entirely blameless :rotfl:
The whole system is a joke from beginning to end!!! 👿

I have no intention of being the ‘Whistleblower’ to this plumbers future activities.
I’m not conversant at all with CORGI or their regulations, BUT, do they not police the activities of those that may allow their registration to elapse and yet continue with their business in this way????????

Bang on right Kevin!
I’m just stating the reality of what is happening today out there due to the exorbitant costs of bureaucracy gone mad in the plumbing industry alone.
Christ knows what chance our trade has if this is the state of feeling the plumbers and heating engineers are faced with today 🙁

ParticipantRe: Indesit WG820G Belt
Firstly it is hoped you have the correct sized belt in the first place?? It should have stamped on it “1288” (1,288mm’s in total length) if not then you have the wrong belt. 🙁
To fit it without taking the skin off your fingers, simple tie the belt to the main drive pulley with a piece of string OR a cable tie. As you rotate the belt onto the two pulleys, simply cut the string and continue the final 20 or so degrees to fully locate it

“Please” is a nice word around here 😆
However, check the pump filter, your pump is not working with a code C2 showing most probably 😉 .
Do please read your Instruction Booklet for further tips. Beyond that and for further advice , please do give us the MODEL number and PNC No of your machine 😀

Graeme,
Total tosh my friend, I don’t know how you came by that info? Instead, look up your machines ‘Product Code’ from the back panel, then download a FREE version of the user manual direct from Indesits website…..

ParticipantRe: merloni indesit extended warranty service
Sue,
I sympathise with your frustration over the 5 year extended warranty problems you are experiencing. A tale we have heard so many times sadly 🙁 . Often when one gets more and more angry with such companies in these circumstances on the telephone, they often become more un-cooperative unfortunately. Often then they make certain statements they know to be untrue but which will pacify the customer in order simple to get them off the phone 🙁
However, the law is on your side, and you have a written contract to prove that fact. Therefore can I suggest rather than more heated telephone calls, contact a local solicitor. They will simple need to see the contract for themselves in order to pursue a formal resolve, which usually is in the form of a letter from them explaining their* legal obligations.
The usual cost of such ‘out of court action’ by your solicitor can be as little as £75. That sum of money added of course to your settlement claim’ 😀
Works in 95{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of cases

*The company in question by the way has been recently ‘renamed’ The Indesit Company

ParticipantRe: indesit error code!!!
A heating problem is the likely error coding. If you would be so very kind as to furnish us with the model number of the errant appliance. We may be able to give more details?
