No Ken. It seems adverts have just started to appear between posts on Tapatalk. Can’t turn them off and they are a major irritant far more than my pills can cope with so I’m gonna avoid Tapatalk.
Must dash, it’s feeding time at the asylum……

Hmm? We’ve heard it all before I’m afraid. These machines are more complex than they need be. Mechanically under-engineered with flaky electronics is my take on it all. I always believed BSH engineers had laptops capable of interrogating the electronics in order to source any recorded errors? From your account it appears that is no longer the case. Were they from BSH or that gormless bunch from Currys ‘Knowhow?’
Whatever, it matters little. You’ve taken my choice option so well for you and let’s hope you get better luck with it. It’s guaranteed for 2 yrs anyway so you should enjoy that degree of security toward your investment at least. 😀

You’ll need to think of replacing it again then after 3 yrs or so. Cheap end Bosch not good. Top end just marginally better. Look for Bosch’s made up sister Siemens and one with a 5 yr warranty would be your best option. Quality cheap and you’re talking Beko for sure.

From the photos you gave it looks like possibly the water is coming down from the fill matrix. Maybe the round gasket between the matrix and the tub? Then trickling down the side of the tub and between the ion exchanger and the module board?

I can only figure that the door switch is faulty?

The days of the trade recommending Bosch are over.
The problem with an 18month old Bosch suffering such a major breakdown in this way would put the onus on the retailer. ‘Not fit for purpose’ and such like the public is entitled to shout. And the ‘6 year rule’ all reflect badly on the retailer.
It certainly does reflect on the seller in more ways than one. If you stick your neck out and ‘recommend’ this c r a p then I suggest you think again. Bosch are no better at making white goods than Haier or Candy. I challenge anyone to prove otherwise.

Well would you credit it? I always thought China and Japan weren’t even on speaking terms let alone trading partners. That surely is a good thing, both muck in together and churn out more cheap junk onto a grateful world marketplace.
Or, as they say in Japanese …..ah, the future is blight, we make velly good telly an now expore swishy sushiwashmachin to you my flend, arseho!”

Cutlery stuck under the mushroom float?
Impeller jug?
Or worst case the Control Unit? (It’s best to look for surface component damage first though of course)😀
