No problem, only too pleased to oblige. By the way, those lamp holders are as cheap as chips and come with lens and bulb so it’s always a good thing to change the lot rather than the bulb alone. On many Bosch/Neff ovens those darn lamp holders often blow the electronic board when changing bulbs.

The advent of those Karcher type steam cleaners people use to clean their ovens these days is very often the reason they blow up. Water and electrics eh, what are they like these people?

I had one dozy bird say to me ….“we wouldn’t dream of using water to clean the inside of the oven, my hubby uses one of those steam cleaning thingys”

Once the door is removed from the oven then you only need remove the top 2 screws in order to split the panels to change the handle. The bottom 4 screws hold the hinges in place therefore there’s no need to remove them.

Jap? God lord! The Japanese wouldn’t entertain importing such German made junk onto their shores.

I have split this to thread “Japanese by name only?” in General trade forum.

I still question the element, it could so easily be faulty. By switch do you mean the selector switch? If the fan element blew up (literally) then it could burn out the selector switch contacts.

I think the harness to the NTC at the bottom of the condenser is 1324405115.

(If it’s just broken connector at the NTC I use spade connectors instead)

Bosch bulbs and holders are an issue and can often blow the electronics too. (Do please always give the full Enr. Number of the appliance when seeking help by the way.) You might best change the bulb AND holder to be on the safe side. 😉

You may have to clear the error code from memory. To do that, turn selector switch to six o’clock position. The touch the spin speed button whilst turning the selector one position clockwise. Release button and turn selector to off. Fingers crossed that might do it. 😀

You could yes though the fact the fan comes on and the oven heat light suggests to me the timer/clock connection is good.

You have to remove the screws holding the control panel on too in order to lift the cabinet up and away!

Then clearly the issue is no water entering the machine. A blockage in the fill matrix or pressure chamber the most likely reason. Time for it to have a good service.

When you opened it and looked inside was it hot and steamy or just cold?

Unfortunately the oven is pretty ancient so it’s no surprise the thermostat is no longer made. 🙁
