Sorry to say Sattam it is not a model we are familiar with here in the United Kingdom ( Not sold in the UK). As a guess, the ‘Programmer’ is at fault and may well be uneconomical to repair, but not sure, sorry :con:

    KB,

Another thought on this….If the stopcocks you turned off had those little red and blue levers on them, they may have broken as you turned them off, therefore they may not actually now be on!! 💡

Possibly you may be guilty by admission in that regard 😆 But hey! Most repairmen these days (somewhat tongue in cheek maybe) are OK.

Perhaps I should ask you to keep us posted on the progress? Assuming a happy and successful conclusion all the while 😀

Well only a very slight risk it has damaged the board? You could ask that the element be replaced at the price quoted on the understanding that if the board was required then you do not wish to have the work undertaken 😕

However, if the engineer had disconnected the supply to the element, then tried it again with a test lead on the supply leads, that would have indicated to him whether or not the board was damaged…! 😕

If he didn’t do that, no worries, the good news may be that if your house supply uses a tripswitch (RCD) type consumer unit, and when it failed it tripped the electrics, there is a good chance the board will be fine 🙂 If however the machine blew the 13 amp fuse, then the board may be damaged???

    Re: Bosch Water Problem

It’s likely a blockage of sludge between the water level unit and the sump. If that is blocked water starts to fill then the safety switch shuts it off. 🙁

Access can be gained pushing a long thin ‘bottle brush’ up the outlet pipe within the sump recess (front l/h/side). Introducing a little hot water into the sump at the same will make it easier to dissolve the sludge 😉

Er! I think the “Red Button” is actually a kind of beige colour? and is the reset tab on the Thermal Cut-out. They usually trip for up to 3 reasons. 1) The user turns the machine off before the dry cycle completes 🙁 2) The condenser ducting gets blocked with fluff near the bottom hose 🙁 and/or finally 3) The blower fan seizes up. Any one or several combinations will have the same end result in that little button tripping 😥

    Goosegreen,

I assume you refer to the ‘O Ring’ black neoprene seal that sits on the end of the condenser ducting and attaches to the drum with the 3 screw/plate fixings?

If that’s what you need then they come in a pack of 5 part no: 9800067

    Bad news Matt….It’s a MOTOR problem….so possibly BIG MONEY to sort…. 😥

I guess if say you set it to spin only…you get the Error Code…yes?

It may just be that the motor brushes are playing up but from my experience I doubt that’s the easy option.
