Re: Bosch dishwasher fills with water while not in use

    Simon,

Dirty water from the drain shouldn’t come back into your machine unless there are drain sharing problems? If your machine has its own independant drain outlet, then I guess the pump is not clearing the water in the first place.

If the drain is shared with the sink outlet for example, check that the dishwasher waste pipe is above the water level of the sink to prevent any chance of flow-back. Otherwise take a look at the pump and sump of your machine closely as advised in the user booklet!

Yes you are right Laurence. It appears that the seal on partfinder (illustrated as item 212) is missing and in order to get the part you need and whole from panel at £25 quid!!! 🙁

Time from Brian to help out on this I reckon 💡

A good clean out and service wash will cure most of those problems. Try this like for more tips 😉

No I’m sure Reggies show in LA will be a whole lot different than the ones he will put on in May at Reading Stadium and also at St Marys Stadium in Southampton a week later. Tickets were £75 by the way, I wonder how many $$$ you paid? 🙁

Not me, Alan did train there though. Sadly Alan is no longer with us, he passed away about 4 or 5 years back now. 🙁

Probably the wiring harness in the door needs inspecting and the switch panel for the likely answer 😉

Check out our repairs@ for an engineer in your area to take a look!

    Ian,

Yes you will need to replace the Door Latch Assy (Part No: C00048970 – Cost around £22). They do have a tendency to break and jam up 🙁

Re: Candy Washing Machine Heating element

    Jim,

Breakdowns of the heating element (for any make) are a possibilty at any time and therefore not surprising at all really. Water hardness and useage are the main factors every time 🙁

Fortunately for you in this case, the first years guarantee will cover it 🙂

The base is flooded I expect 😉

Tip the machine backwards about 45 degrees and see if water leaks out? (Have a cloth handy to mop up)

:plug: PULL THE PLUG FIRST THOUGH :zap:

    Then see if it works???

I must say that all the while Rudi talks a lot of sense, shoots from the hip and seems an all round good guy and a great asset to UKW. Therefore I have no reason nor need to know otherwise. Thanks for the explanation (such as it was) anyway Ken

OK, just one more question on the subject if I may?…..who took the ‘Rudi Picture’ with the hands behind the Gents bog door then???? I realise it was a spoof, but friggin’ brilliant all the same :rotfl:

Don’t tell me it was Ken did ‘cos I know full well he can’t take pictures with that crap camera of his :martin:

I have to say that Ken has nominated the right charity in my opinion

Whilst UKW has little to give, I figure it would be a good ‘PR Job’ to concentrate what little surplus we could generate to Children in Need….period

    What do others reckon????????
