Haven’t Hoover/Candy got a gizmo that you plug in via a Laptop to test the later Inter@ct series machines?

Sounds very much like low water pressure to me causing insufficient flow. May I ask, with the drawer pulled out, if you were to fill the fabric conditioner compartment with a glass or two of water, would it drain away completely???

lindag wrote:i know this is prob a stupid question, but where is the condensor located??/
For obvious reasons we are not obliged to give specifics here as it involves as certain amount of dismantling at the very least. Suffice to say and indeed repeat what my colleague Dave Conway said earlier, do please consult the engineers that looked at it originally. You are armed at least with the knowledge you have gained from us ‘experts’ 😉
Not a problem to sort ultimately 😀

Lindag,
The most common cause of such a complaint is simply that the condenser water inlet nozzle/regulator is blocked and no water flows into the condenser ducting 🙁 .
Was that part ever replaced do you know ❓ (Part No: C00032846)

streetlighter wrote:I was told not to use it in yellow pages because if I dont behave myself they want the option to remove me from there list, and they cant remove the add in the yellow pages for a year
Having spoken today with Helen Woods (Business Support Officer, Hampshire Trading Standards) she concurred that Bedfordshire Trading Standards did take a more ‘hard line’ approach within their scheme regarding the use of their logo in advertising.
Hampshire did discuss this issue and concluded NOT to follow suit. Instead they do point out to traders that should they ever be excluded from their scheme, to inform their customers and advertisers of their exclusion. Furthermore Hampshire will monitor the activities of those excluded to ensure compliance.
So, as long as I remain in their scheme I can add their logo to my advert in future editions of Yellow Pages or wherever. Helen felt sure that Bedfordshire T.S will conform in a similar way to ‘fall in line’ with many other counties looking to implement similar schemes.
The good news in that regard is that since I first posted this topic a good few more have done just that, so at the last count we have the following list of those in it so far, followed by those already in the final stages of starting* : –
Bedfordshire
Devon
Surrey
East Sussex
Southampton City Council
*Durham
*Outer Hebrides(yes, even that far!!)
*MedwayWhen I get more information back in the next few weeks (from my insider contact 😉 ) I will publish it here. Meanwhile anyone interested but finding their local T S do not run a scheme as yet, can I suggest contacting them and simply asking when will they be joining in? You will find they enjoy such contact and are anxious to encourage cooperation with businesses/tradespeople and welcome any comments. The likelyhood is that now the majority of the South East of England Trading Standards Authorities is/has or will have started shortly, the rest of the UK will follow in the not too distant 😀

clyde wrote:but first thing to check is your fill hose if that is dripping the water will end up into the base and trip the anti flood.
LouLou,
Further to my earlier posting, Clyde has also hinted on the likely cause, especially as your first comment was that you noticed a leak yourself. Your kitchen may be a bit teeny but in order it be inspected will necessitate tipping it backwards slightly just to check.
You could do that and at no cost either 😉
DO PULL THE PLUG FIRST THOUGH :plug:

Spurs1,
It sounds to me that the hose that connects the dispenser to the tub is leaking. Usually at the point where it connects to the tub 🙂
Cure = New hose to be fitted, check repairs@ to see if we have an engineer covering your part of the country.

Indeed it is, therefore the very latest machines available today are usually under 50 litres, for obvious reasons 🙂
But you did ask for the average and therefore much older machines (like my 20 year old Bosch @ over 75 litres) are well over the top. But Hey! I’m on main drains and therefore recycling my waste water back to where it came from anyway :rotfl:

ParticipantRe: Does a washing machine ‘need’ hot water
Between 55 & 75 litres of water per completed wash ❗

All you need is a simple “Y” connector  that is readily available from local spare parts suppliers and possibly from our own shop@ part of the site 🙂

Just another thought….If you tip it backwards to drain off what I believe will be a flooded bottom panel, then try the machine again, it may well operate normally 💡
Has no-one mentioned that little tip to you before I wonder ❓
Before doing such a thing :plug: DO PULL THE PLUG FIRST :zap:
…and have a cloth handy to mop up the water 😉
