ParticipantRe: Press Release – e-Jobs
It’s starting to look good I must say and if the success of shop@ is anything to go by, then it will be a winner for us all π

As Del-Boy would say ….you know it makes sense!”
In order to sell the idea of E-jobs to any and all repairers we have to offer our customers a choice. If there is more than on guy in any area, then the customer should be free to choose and not us.
What UKW is offering (unlike for example Yell.com) is a guaranteed standard of work as we ALL sign up under the Code of Practice and are ALL subject to Advisory Council scrutiny :lesson:
That’s it….thats E-jobs….should be a winner I reckon π

Well at least that’s answered my question π
Without the ‘possible matches’ option, then I too can only view ‘repairs@’ as favouring agents above all others. Which would therefore be unfair, undemocratic and against the basic unbiased principles that UKW is supposed to represent. :con:

I for one hope that’s not the case as I don’t know how the ‘repairs@ module’ works π I would assume that if (for example) someone lives in Derby and has a faulty Zanussi Washer, that person would be given a list of ‘agents’ that cover that Postcode, much like Yell.com does, so they can choose β

ParticipantRe: The UKW Subscriber Forum
I have only just realised something that hasn’t so far been mentioned regarding the modest Β£5 per month ‘Subscription Fee’ is that for many of us it can be ‘offset against tax’ π You are advised to regard and log the expenditure as “Advertising” to satisfy the Tax Man though.
Which also leads me nicely into reminding those that haven’t yet decided to participate, in that ‘Subscribers’ can benefit directly and exclusively from UKW promoting and advertising YOUR business for just five quid a month!!!!!!!!!!
( π …less Tax even π )

Yes Dave, correct, That stat (exhaust/overheat) is fine, just no power to it though π

Got one of these (T620CW) that doesn’t heat π No feed to the heater, heater toc’s or the exhaust toc. No feed also to the float chamber microswitch and in case you were wondering, this model doesn’t have a seperate reverse timer. So! My diagnosis has led me to conclude the timer contacts are at fault, and not having a bl**dy wiring diagram πΏ to hand, have ordered one anyway.
Has anyone fitted a Timer to one of these I wonder? The wholesalers have plenty in stock, so I guess there is a need for them π , it’s just that I have never come across a faulty timer on a 14 month old dryer before :con:
Any thoughts?

Julie,
All machines carry a ‘Date code’ to show when they were manufactured. That in itself will be proof enough, although I doubt they will querie that with you when they call. They will not insist on payment from you anyway at the time of their visit to hopefully resolve the problem.
Any problems in that regard? and let us know. Happy washdays π

No idea who he is either π , but on the positive side, he has a great line up I reckon π . For me its my old mate from Sheffield Paul Carrack that tops the bill  . Ken and John Mac will be thrilled to know that the Pipes & Drums of RAF Halton will be blasting out the odd Scottish reel or two. Dave Conway will be rocking to Franz Ferdinand, Kevin will be flashing his underwear at Natasha Bedingfield I expect. Del’s an Amie Winehouse kind of guy I believe and Penguin will doubtless be in a flap over Jamie Cullum and surely Mark will salute the talent of Mr Slowhand himself?
Whatever you sods get up to tonight, behave π
ALL THE BEST FOR 2005

First of all may I ask why you want a thermostat? Is it faulty?
In order to provide you the correct part, we first need the Product number of your machine as there are several versions of the ADG720 (which is a 12 digit number usually beginning with 8.)
