That’s the price you pay for discouraging Travellers settling in your area.

ParticipantRe: BOSCH WFK2801 with FHP motor – which brushes?
Several low speed spin cycles are best. Don’t be tempted to put it on full warp speed until they have bedding in. 😉

That damaged drum is going to rip your washing to shreds the first time you use it. My advice : Scrap it!

It’s much cheaper at local garden centres. It’s a winter cover for your outdoor furniture. Clearly Qualtex are expanding their range of goods.

You get a better view of the motor that way I expect. 😉

It’s not OK to bend the fan at all!

Long time no type Yurtesen 😀
The tachometer generator on the end of the motor needs checking out. Wires to it broken? Magnet loose? Coil damaged?

ParticipantRe: BEKO Washing Machine WM6355W 1500rpm Drum Bang and knock
Just like car shocks, push down on drum and they should’nt bounce. The speed of the motor is controlled by the tachometer generator on the end of the motor. It’s like a dynamo, generates a small electrical current that is measured by the control module. If the motor suddenly breaks into a fast rotation then the problem is associated with that tachometer circuit.
From your description I would think the problem is not the shocks though they are cheap to replace anyway,

ParticipantRe: Miele washing machine. Drum hits door seal
Maybe Simon is on to something when he mentions the word “vacuum”. Maybe the air vent is blocked and the spinning action does create suction?

ParticipantRe: Miele washing machine. Drum hits door seal
Yes sorry, spider or drum spigot. The 3 legged drum support in essence. One of the arms may have corroded and broken.
Best way to know is if the drum doesn’t rotate evenly as it should but has an elliptical rotation and catches the door boot in one spot. That’s a dead giveaway. 😉

I have no clue at this stage. First you’ll need to check out the model number and then price up the worst case (what if) scenario.
