    It’s a permanent magnet pump so the impeller will not spin freely anyway. Don’t assume the pump at fault as it may be something blocking the tub sump hose? The drain coupling under the sink if fitted that way? Kink in drain hose?

    The only way to answer that would be to test the element first. Guessing can turn out a to be a costly mistake.

    Circulating pump leak? Inlet matrix? Tub gasket?…..find that leak. 😀

    Check the filter on the water supply valve attached to the stop tap. It may be silted up?

    Turn your caps lock off for starters.

    When the element blew it may have fused the selector switch? The thermal trip could be O/C? Or you may have wired it up incorrectly? That’s should cover all possibilities I would think. 😀
