They’ll store far less next year when supermarkets charge 5p for them.

With the dial on ‘off’ press and hold in the spin reduce (-spin) button. Turn dial one position clockwise and release button. That should put you in the ‘test’ mode.
Turn dial to off should (fingers crossed, 3 hail Mary’s etc) clear the error. 😀

You should post this in the trade forums NOT in the public ones Dave. 😉

Up to 5 years is a good run for most Beko machines especially if it’s in use daily in which case you can double that to almost ’10 washing machine years’. That aside, I’m thinking whatever jammed and dented the drum (coin? nail? Bra wire?) may also have created problems to the main PCB? Can’t rule out the motor having suffered though more likely the belt would be the first to break IF the drum momentarily jammed at that time.

It’s all a bit ‘what if’ I guess. One thing’s for sure, it’s gonna be expensive. 🙁

Could well be the mains filter (suppressor)….?

It’s an earth leak you need look for John. A multimeter won’t locate that, you need an insulation tester (aka a Megger) in order to locate the source instantly.

The mains filter (suppressor) could be your problem by the way. 😉

Only light I can shed is that the interlock may have blown the Power board, so inspection required. Also the proverbial earth leakage can cause such issues and the PCB throws a wobbly as a result.

Check and clean out what may be a blocked air pressure chamber attached to the sump hose.

That wouldn’t necessarily account though for the “almighty bang” and the dent in the drum. 🙁

It’s taken a while so far but after removing the bolt it gets a tad more complicated. Mind how you go, do keep us posted on your progress. 😀

Are you sure that power is going to the cooker, or maybe just live with no neutral (faulty double pole wall switch?) I’m not familiar with this cooker and usually the clock controls all except the grill and hotplates. Are they not working also?

If it is a push button control model the the number is etched into the stainless inner door panel adjacent the door latch (use a torch). Rotary control knob versions the label on the left hand edge of stainless door panel.

Still no number? Photograph it and post piccy. 💡
