It don’t move. That went out with mechanical timers. This one is fully electronic. The old duffer may have been twiddling and getting proper confused. :clown:

ParticipantRe: Hotpoint Ultima WMA74 door issue
If it worked fine immediately before you replaced the door boot then It would be logical to assume a wire has got damaged or disconnected since. However, if the old door boot was leaking like a collander with holes in it adjacent the interlock then it may be water stained and may have fused the PCB…???

Primrose wrote:Hi, the hob is just a few months old and I keep it very clean, it has been doing this since it was first installed.
Then get it looked at under the terms of the guarantee.

Dirty around the sparker, clean carefully to avoid breaking the ceramic sparker though.

Dear MartinThank you for your correspondence.
In this instance I would refer you to BS6891 which states:
8: Installation
8.1 Installation pipework shall be physically protected or located where it is not liable to mechanical damage
If the customer has concerns relating to the gas safety of the installation then he/she can raise a complaint via 08004085500 Option 6 or enquiries@gassaferegister.co.uk .

Tel: 0800 408 5500I would suggest in this instance that the pipework could indeed render itself “liable to mechanical damage” and Squadmans customer should report the guy using the complaints procedure shown in the email above. 🙁

I think there’s every hope that has happened as they can easily be disconnected. 😉

I have set the multimeter to 200 ohm. That is incorrect, you need to set it on Kohms

Now test it again on the Kohms scale this time, what’s the reading now?

ParticipantRe: Bosch WWF1401 drum noise
Ah I think you may need Specsavers then as I can only find a Bosch WFF1401GB/01.
To test the shock absorbers simply remove the lid and push down and release the drum. ( Much like testing car shocks by pushing on the wing) If it bounces back they’re duff and need replacing.

Half a cup of vinegar is hardly gonna leave a pungent smell after several rinses. Why not see for yourself?

You’ve knocked the interlock connector plug off?
