Re: Electrolux oven won’t switch off

With that model the main Power Board is the likely suspect. A relay stuck by the sound of it. 🙁

TBH I’m not exactly sure but it may well be that the motor brushes need replacing? That involves pulling the machine out sadly. Not an easy task with these built in machines. 🙁

Sorry I just wondered why no codes showed

If should have given an F:21 error code so, perhaps it needs more than just new brushes? The only way you’ll get the answer to that is when you change the brushes and it won’t work without carry out the ‘reset’ procedure.

There’s a whole raft of drain filters and gaskets on ‘another’ website. Just Google AWZ512 Drain Filter. The one you need is £11 😉

You second thread on the same subject concludes that the carbons need replacing. As far as error codes are concerned though, many models of Bosch (even 10 year old vintage) do give error code indications. What you didn’t tell us was the all important model number (ENr number) shown inside the door and on the back panel.

Re: Random magnet found in Siemens washer.

The magnet does not come from any component in your machine. It must have been there some time and left by someone that had previous reason to access the internal workings for whatever reason. 😕

Sump is 00702508 and you’ll also need the cover 00652523

Costly fix so be sure first that that’s where it’s leaking I would. 😉

    Re: bosch washer

You didn’t give us that all important ENr number. Many Bosch machines only do a short spin (800rpm) on ‘spin only’ cycle.
