ParticipantRe: BOSCH WASHER DRYER STOPS MID CYCLE
Random enough that one time it works OK and the next it doesn’t. First thing we do in the trade is megger first to eliminate guesswork.

Should take around 5 mins to reach 200c. How long is your “ages?”
Is the fan running flat out? I’m thinking element faulty element TBH.

Yes

The heating element (part no: 00498607) needs replacing. Very common failing.

ParticipantRe: BOSCH WASHER DRYER STOPS MID CYCLE
In that case you’d best test the earth insulation of the dryer element. And the insulation resistance throughout for that matter as any earth leak will create the symptoms you are experiencing. Have you got a Megger?

Do you use the dryer much?

ParticipantRe: bosch dishwasher shower
Don’t know what that part is or the model number you’re referring to but this is a Bosch dishwasher shower head……

ParticipantRe: Have I broken my dishwasher door?
You don’t need to “take the door apart”. Just place a loop of stiff wire to hook under the catch and pull upwards…..simples.

The ‘Known Error Codes’ thread suggests that an E01 error refers to a faulty main board.

Can it be anything other than the aquastop?Nope, you got me there. It’s not filling, the aquastop is stopping the aqua from entering the machine so I’m reaching a foregone conclusion as to where the fault lies. 😕

ParticipantRe: Neff S51E50X1GB/25 heater insulation fault.
Heater coming on without water through the circulating pump (i.e. Faulty module heater relay?) maybe?

Forgive the echo in the room but…….replace the aquastop?

Like with any electrical component, power disconnected, access heater terminals then test with a multimeter.
When giving advice we assume a degree of electrical knowledge toward those that seek help. If you are in any way uncertain as to how to proceed do ask a local independent repairer to fix it. We can give guidance only not step by step instructions.

Thanks for testing that out. Now you need to check the heating element as the symptoms suggest it is not heating and hence the programme times out!
