It must be choked with limescale I’m thinking. 😕

On the assumption you are connecting the other end to an existing (minimum rated) 32amp isolation switch? If that is the case then it should be OK to do so as long as it is a single supply circuit and (most importantly) is protected by a 32amp MCB.

ParticipantRe: Bosch Dishwasher SGS56E02GB/47
The mains filter (00600233) is available here:
https://shop.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/600233- … suppressor
The complete power lead including all fixings (00483582) available directly from Bosch’s own spares website. (See attached photo)
The steam vent pipe that clips close to the mains filter will not cause any interference with if you simple clean it up and relocate it.

The Whirlpool group of companies have been getting away with it for years, so why should you? Houses burnt to the ground, blocks of flats evacuated, 1000’s of lives made a misery. Try blaming Whirlpool, where’s the incontrovertible proof?
Last one to touch it gets the blame? Prove it.

ParticipantRe: Zanussi ZDC47200W has stopped working
If you are certain that 240v is going to the appliance (both live & neutral) and the controls are totally dead then the control board (PCB) is definately suspect. 🙁

Some fascinating stories told on Martin Lewis and also The Complaining Cow forums. Not to mention Whirlpools flack on Facebook. Several owners that allowed the safety recall ‘engineers’ in to do the mods say that many just took the back off looked inside and popped a green sticker and left!
How very very curious 😈

ParticipantRe: Logik LBFAN X12 won’t heat up
It’s a simple switch, one wire in the other out. For it to test out OK you should have continuity through the switch as it is normally closed. If the contacts are open circuit the switch is faulty and needs replacing. (They are not usually resettable)

ParticipantRe: Logik LBFAN X12 won’t heat up
I’m not familiar with the brand but it could be a faulty limit switch (Thermal Overload Cutout)…? Normally attached on or close to the inner oven lining. It could also be a fault with the main selector switch? Either way it’s power off before investigating. :plug: :plug:

ParticipantRe: Neff Fan Oven Element not replaceable!?
Total nonsense, I believe that backplate (00290278) is still available though it can be reused even if there is an issue with the mounting screws.
The element (00499003) comes without an earth tag. If your element has an earth tag then simply isolate the earth lead connector and locate it safely away from contact with other electical contacts.
I hope that helps?

Ah shucks! But then it is an AEG after all (short for Amasses Engineers Guesswork) :rolls:
Well let me know if you need help accessing the diagnostic sequence. 🙂

ParticipantRe: Neff Oven
The thing is, like with all microprocessor controlled devices, they self check and if something is open circuit whether in use or not an error code will flag up. No oven in that household until you return from your hols. 8) 😉 😈
