Well, carefully double-check that the door isn’t obstructed in any way (i e Top basket not located properly or machine not standing on a level floor surface)

With a little light pressure on the control panel check to see if it starts then. (The door sensor is indeed very sensitive magnet type)

Hmm? Tricky one to be honest. It might well be overheating and the overheat protection stopping the machine toward what would be the end of the main wash part of the program?

Does it work OK on the Pre-rinse and quick wash programmes?

Possibly the door is not shutting properly and the door sensor thinks the door still open, maybe?

    Re: Bosch condenser tumble dryer

Someone who took the trouble to deface and/or remove the ID labels clearly didn’t want anyone else to fix it. Obviously the control PCB has failed and unless you can identify and replace the failed components on the board there will be little choice but to throw in the towel*.

    (*ideally in a replacement dryer 😉 )

It is so much easier putting over questions I would ask on site in your home and far harder in forum speak. I refer to filling/draining/filling/draining every few seconds. Is that happening?

Do you notice at any stage in the cycle the machine filling/draining/filling/draining in rapid succession?

An engineer that came into my house to check my Bosch WVG30461GB washer dryer entered the hidden service program and changed a value from P10 to P30.

It was not a “hidden service program” at all, but he just altered the program he was testing. (see page 24 of your user instructions for a full explanation)

Yes Beko are pretty good these days and have raised their game since the scares of the tumble dryers and fridge freezers catching fire. I’m not aware of any dishwasher problems from them though there are loads of daft users around that turn on their dishwasher at night then go to bed, or worse still turn them on and go to work. You can only make a product so safe but ultimately then user then takes control and that’s when the problems begin.

Re: Which is best choice ofr a new dishwasher

You will be very disappointed with the modern machines in comparison as their life expectancy is 3 – 5 yrs at best. Bosch carry a 2 yr guarantee so that’s half its life covered. Shop around for its big sister Siemens and many of those models carry a 5 yr warranty before carting it to the skip. All other brands will give you some satisfaction coupled with trepidation as to when they go belly up!

They don’t make ’em like they used to. 😉

Re: 6mm2 cooker cable to terminal on cooker.

Just reading through the user manual and I can see where you are coming from here. The instructions are rubbish in the extreme. But looking at your photo it does look as though each wire needs to be slotted just below each of the 3 screws. You should loosen the screw first which releases the compression plate, slot the wire in then tighten the screw……

From the numbers you gave I would think you refer to a S4443N7GB? Possible suffix /08? Which is a semi integrated machine with a grey plastic tub? Circa 2004 (June).

If so and reading through all your symptoms then the timer control is suspect at this point. One thing I need you to clarify first…it does heat the water does it?

Re: 6mm2 cooker cable to terminal on cooker.

You should strip off sufficient sheathing to expose enough copper wire to entirely encircle the screw thread before securing it as tight as possible into the terminal block.

Yes the sealing strip (00262192) can be prised apart and replaced though Neff want silly money for a what is just a sticky strip.
