Domestic & General rule the roost on that front. And every single brand sold and guarantee registered then D&G are on to it. So, unless you wanna be a ‘service partner’ you’d be best to steer clear of offering warranty options in my opinion.

That fact now rules out the drain pump. So the finger of blame lies with the thermostat on the top of the heater unit. Accessing that to replace it is simple enough but warrants a deal of surgery involving lying the machine on its back and removing the bottom inspection cover.

Finally we have established that the pre-rinse cycle works normally.

That pretty well rules out the Control unit (which incidentally costs £81 and is part no: 00426436).

Next question: When it sticks and you feel the need to abort (reset) the cycle, does it pump out all the hot water OK?

You refer to the safety overheat cutout and not the thermostat. That is located on the heater unit accessible after removing the RH side panel. Your machine does not have a PCB controller.

Yes the timer goes ‘on hold’ until the thermostat (thermistor in fact) on the heater unit allows the timer to continue through the cycle.

Ditto to my colleagues comments. Only a Gas Safe qualified person could possibly check and test your oven. DIY intervention dangerous in the extreme.

Why not start this then with an official petition 💡

    Re: Lamona oven gas smell

Two facts stand out here. 1) That it’s been like it from new. 2) That it was converted from natural gas to LPG at that time. The combined conclusion has to be that the conversion wasn’t carried out correctly especially with reference to the main oven. Possibly the wrong gas nipple was used or the air ratio adjustment of the main oven burner set incorrectly. Or maybe even the regulator on the gas bottle is wrong or faulty?

That carbon monoxide alarm has done its job for sure though and you’re safe and well. Don’t use the oven now until it is sorted or disposed of. :plug:

95{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} sure the heater is the likely culprit. Inspecting the PCB is a simple task once the machine is fully pulled out. Removing the RH side panel will reveal it. The heater a little tricky to check it with a meter but removng the front plinth will allow access there.

If you have been using the machine all the while without salt thinking the 3 in 1 tablets cure all then for sure the heater is duff! 🙁

Re: Levelling …how far do you go

There’s two ways of looking at it….

    1) Removing old integrated, supplying and installing a suitable replacement the customer would expect some degree of professional service that wouldn’t necessarily require their intervention. So no matter what the state of the walls, floor or kitchen furniture the installer would be expected to deal with it.

    2) If the customer simply wants the appliance, they purchased elsewhere, to be installed and the location was found unsuitable then it is not unreasonable to suggest the problem is theirs to solve.

Looking on Bosch’s spare parts web site I see it listed as part no: 00165385. To confirm the heater works simply temporarily short out that safety stat. Though in my experience the heater itself being faulty the more usual case.

The motor plug to PCB connector blocks are numbered albeit very tiny numbers that perhaps a magnifying glass would confirm.

With all the follow-up information taken into account I still conclude that the 3 level pressure switch is the likely culprit.

Motor thermal protector kicking in so looks like you’ve fuffed up the wiring in and around the motor somehow ❓

Why didn’t you just take the drum out to replace the rollers? It’s only a 5-10 minute job that way. 😳
