Going back to test out ribbon cable but if not which is more likely to be problem – light/selector/start module or main module?
Anybody offer any ideas please?
Thanks

ParticipantRe: Bosch WTL6103GB/01 Codenser Drier – pump?
thanks simon
had removed the screw 😉 but hadnt tried twisting the motor as it all seemed pretty solid and for fear the whole lot suddenly coming loose n spending load of time refitting everything. Just wondered what the knack was to getting the pump out was?
still presuming the front connections are the pump cuz looks like they are o/circ. so new pump required.

Thanks for the reply Simon
yes did take off the hose, even took out the clamp that holds the motor in as i thought that might be fouling the cover – only thing I didn’t take off was the pully system altho that seems clear – looked to me as if it was fouling on the motor coller if anything. wiggled tugged and twisted as much as I dare without breaking but just didnt seem to want to come free.
Do I have to take off pulley system as well?

Just out of interest – what about the Hotpoint one- same problem?

Panic was just setting in as it stopped and just pumped out for what seemed like a minute before it moved off and started to fill – sigh of relief as thought it was still stuck on pump out.
