Probably not related, i went to a Siemens diswasher that had blocked pipe ( the usual one at the bottom at the front) It registered a fault.

After cleaning i went to set it and the customer pointed out when you now set it the numbers in the display for minutes was all wrong, way higher. when i pressed the 2 buttons to reset it then went back to normal.

Lol! Doing work for friends / people you know or family is the worst a! They abuse us more than Joe Public!

    Ade 🙂

Don’t forget about neighbour’s either. One of my neighbours had a sock stuck in her machine. Got it out and only charged her 20 euro. “I’ll drop it down to you” . This is about a year ago now and every so often she says to my mother ” Oh i must drop that 20 down to Michael” :rolls: . Anyway it’s not worth the aggro to fall out with neighbours…

But it’s funny the difference in neighbours though. Her next door neighbour hadn’t money on him after doing a repair. Next day he actually walks out in front of me nearly getting knocked down to stop me to pay.

What i also find interesting about these type of people they will expect you to drop everything for them, call Sundays and bank holidays too and phone late at night.

Yes. for the dryer side of the inlet valve there is a restrictor and there is one where the black pipe goes into the dryer condensor( i think that’s what it’s called?)

If there is no restrictor on the inlet valve and there is good water pressure in the house the black pipe will split where it goes into the condensor 😡 😡

    Re: Credit Card Scam

Happened me a few weeks back. I went over to the states to find my card wouldn’t work. They copped straight away and blocked it but caused me huge inconvenience when over there. Apparenty it was used in a petrol staion a few times in the Lebanon!

    Re: Beko WMA520 won’t reset

Yeah when the brushes go it does the same so if you disconnect the motor it wil behave the same. I went to one of these yesterday apparently blowing the fuse in the plug. When i get there he explains ” It was blowing fuses so i tried silver paper around the fuse to get it to work” 😯 😯 . It was also tripping the switch etc. So when i get there it doesn’t work at all, with all the trying he must have fried the board :rolls:

Thanks for the replies. The fan is a little noisy too it has a little play on it, hardly would cause that? Regarding the sensor it cuts off even on the timed section, thought it wouldn’t use the sensor on that?

Sorry i meant the machine. You switch it on press the start it starts and after about 4 or 5 seconds it stops. If you switch machine on and off it repeats.

    Mike.

I called to a Hotpoint washing machine the other day that was 24 years old! I don’t think the WMA’s from 2002 were that bad, a lot better than the newer WF’s, WD’s.

Not too familiar with this machine. How do you retrieve the fault code on this machine?

Re: Miele G 638 plus diswasher

Are you from near Longford?? This machine doesn’t have a display and the inlet light flashes constantly. The pressure switch is definately faulty as it seems stuck and won’t click when you blow into it.
